Just over two weeks before its official release (and even sooner for those who pre-ordered the Premium Edition), Forza Horizon 6 has reached its final development stage – ‘gone gold’. Although a small update will likely be released on launch day to fix any last-minute bugs and improve performance, the main development work is now complete.
Good news for anyone hyped for the game – you can now pre-load it on Xbox Series X/S and PC! Just a heads-up, it’s a big download – around 130-135GB on Xbox and a whopping 160GB on PC (and seriously, make sure you have an SSD for PC, you’ll need it – check the full specs here). And if that wasn’t enough to get you excited, Playground Games also just revealed all the radio stations we’ll be listening to while cruising around Japan!
Forza Horizon 5 is boasting the most songs in the series so far, with nine different radio stations to listen to. You’ll find returning favorites like Horizon Pulse and Horizon Bass Arena, plus some exciting new options – including Gacha City Radio, which sounds… interesting. The game also features music from popular Japanese artists like BABYMETAL, BAND-MAID, and ONE OK ROCK, alongside well-known bands such as Rise Against and Linkin Park.
Forza Horizon 6 launches on May 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PC. If you purchase the Premium Edition, you can begin playing on May 15th. You can find details about the game’s multiplayer features here.
