New servers using graphics processing units (GPUs) are now online, combining the power of Bitcoin mining with artificial intelligence tasks.

Interhash CEO Alexander Lozben has announced the launch of their new AI mining servers, which are powered by GPUs. This is a new step into powerful computing, but the company emphasizes it’s not abandoning Bitcoin mining; instead, they’re expanding to offer this as an additional service using their existing infrastructure.

As someone invested in crypto, I’ve always seen a strong connection between Bitcoin mining and the infrastructure needed for AI. They both require a lot of power, cooling, and physical space – it’s really just the computers themselves and how we make money from them that are different. That’s why I’m excited about Interhash – they’ve been building mining facilities for almost ten years and are now naturally expanding into providing computing power for AI. It makes a lot of sense, and I think it positions them well for the future.

As a crypto investor, what really excites me about Interhash is how they’re maximizing their resources. Basically, they’ve built a system that keeps generating value no matter what’s happening in the crypto market. They can switch between mining and providing AI computing power, always focusing on whatever’s most profitable at the moment. This flexibility should help them maintain consistent profits and become a really strong, diversified player in the computing space – and that makes them a more reliable investment in my opinion.

–  said CEO Alexander Lozben.

Traditional Bitcoin mining is still the main activity. Artificial intelligence computing isn’t taking its place, but rather adding another source of income. Both running AI programs and mining Bitcoin using GPUs and ASICs put different demands on the same computer systems. When Bitcoin mining becomes less profitable, these systems can switch to AI tasks. And when Bitcoin prices go up, they focus more on increasing mining power. We’ve started a test run and are closely watching how well it performs.

Interhash is a global company focused on digital assets and blockchain technology. They offer complete mining solutions throughout CIS countries, the Middle East, Europe, and Central Asia, and are the official European and CIS partner for the ViaBTC mining pool.
