Nicole Kidman’s Daughter Sunday Shares Peek at Met Gala Dress Creation

Sunday Rose is blossoming into a fashion icon.

I was absolutely thrilled to see Sunday Rose make her Met Gala debut with her mom, Nicole Kidman! She shared a closer look at the incredible Christian Dior gown designed by Jonathan Anderson, and it was truly breathtaking. Seeing that vision come to life was such a special moment!

On May 5th, Sunday—daughter of Keith Urban—shared a peek at the original design for her pink dress on Instagram. The initial sketch, originally posted by Dior’s creative director, closely resembled the final gown she wore, even including the same standout earring, showing her creative vision was perfectly realized.

The drawing showcases Sunday’s great sense of style, but attending the event with Nicole – who has three children, Faith Margaret (15), Bella Cruise (33), and Connor Cruise (31) from previous relationships with Keith and Tom Cruise – really proved Sunday is a trendsetter. She became one of the youngest people ever to attend the Met Gala, even though the event usually requires guests to be at least 18 years old.

Nicole, who helped host the event alongside Anna Wintour from Vogue, Beyoncé, and Venus Williams, had previously said she was very excited for her daughter to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art fundraiser.

I’ve always admired Nicole’s style, and it really shone through when she wore that stunning, custom red Chanel gown. I remember seeing her talk about it on Las Culturistas a while back, and she simply said, ‘She loves fashion,’ which just perfectly sums her up!

Sunday wasn’t the only one turning heads at the Met Gala. Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, 14, was also there, making her one of the youngest people to ever attend the event.

And similarly to Nicole, the “Break My Soul” singer’s heart was bursting at the milestone.

Beyoncé described the experience as ‘surreal’ in a May 4th interview with Vogue. It was her first time at the event since 2016, and she wore a custom design by Olivier Rousteing. She was especially excited to share the moment with her daughter, saying, ‘She looks so beautiful,’ and ‘This is incredible to be able to share it with her. I think she looks so incredible.’

The 44-year-old, who is also a mother to 9-year-old twins Rumi and Sir, was impressed with her daughter’s confidence while wearing a white Balenciaga dress, simply stating, “She is ready.”
