As the Spring 2026 anime season moves past its midpoint, many shows are also halfway through their run. Two of the most popular new anime right now are the magical fantasy series Witch Hat Atelier and Daemons of the Shadow Realm, with many fans seeing Daemons of the Shadow Realm as a successor to the beloved Fullmetal Alchemist.
While a few anime get most of the attention – often because they’re based on already popular comics or have other advantages – many other great shows are overlooked. Right now, there are three anime on Crunchyroll that you really shouldn’t miss.

2) Agents of the Four Seasons
The anime Agents of the Four Seasons beautifully embodies the feeling of the current season. It presents a fascinating idea: what if Spring simply never came? The story starts when an agent—a human with the job of restoring Spring—arrives in a region that has been without it for a long time.
This anime is incredibly moving, with each character representing a season burdened by past trauma they need to heal to restore joy to the world. Beautiful animation and a fantastic soundtrack enhance the story, creating a truly magical experience and delivering a powerful message. It’s a real standout series currently being released, and you definitely won’t want to miss it.
1) Marriagetoxin
Based on the manga of the same name, Marriagetoxin is a heartwarming anime that’s gaining popularity, though it still doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. It’s a charming blend of action, comedy, and romance with a unique story: Hikaru Gero is an assassin who wants to get married and have a family, primarily so his sister can pursue her own relationship.
The funny part is, Gero is really bad at dating. This sends him on a wild search for love, and he ends up getting help from Mei Kinosaki, a professional matchmaker with a bit of a shady side. The anime is enjoyable thanks to its hilarious scenes, the sweet connections Gero makes with the women he encounters, and exciting action sequences involving other assassins. Anime fans shouldn’t miss this – it’s easy to watch on Crunchyroll in many countries.
