In terms of Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games, it’s tough to find one that outperforms “League of Legends“. Similarly, in the hero shooter genre, games like “Overwatch” and “Marvel Rivals” hold their ground. However, gamers often seek novel experiences. That’s where innovative new games enter the scene, offering fresh takes on established genres to keep things exciting. Now, fans of “League of Legends”, “Marvel Rivals”, and anime enthusiasts alike have a brand-new game to give a spin.
Currently, gaming enthusiasts have an exclusive sneak peek at an upcoming hero shooter MOBA titled Fate Trigger, which boasts a captivating 3D anime-style aesthetic. This is the inaugural project from Saroasis Studios, a freshly established studio under Tencent Games umbrella. The team behind this venture are self-proclaimed “shooting and anime aficionados,” eager to share their enthusiasm for these genres in their debut game.
Currently, the initial closed beta testing of our upcoming free-to-play shooter has begun. In simpler terms, players get an opportunity to try out the game early and offer their suggestions to mold its future development – all without spending a penny. To mark the start of the Closed Beta, we’ve released a fresh new gameplay trailer for fans to enjoy! For your viewing pleasure, check out the latest Fate Trigger trailer.
The video preview showcases the game’s stunning anime-style visuals and first-person shooting gameplay, complete with high-speed car pursuits and character introductions to pump up fans for its release. The Fate Trigger beta version gives players a chance to try out three distinct gaming modes: Awakener Trials, Rapid Trials, and the intense 8v8 Team Deathmatch mode. It features three unique maps, ten playable heroes, four types of vehicles, and a total of twelve heroes and vehicles to select from.

How to Join the Fate Trigger Closed Beta
The Fate Trigger Closed Beta started on July 24th, and Saroasis Studios hasn’t specified an end date yet for this phase of testing. However, their Twitch Drops promotion which includes giving away Closed Beta keys continues until August 18th. Therefore, it seems reasonable to assume that the testing period will last at least until then, and possibly even longer. If you’re interested in participating, here are some ways to get a Fate Trigger Closed Beta key.
Request on Steam
Players who wish to participate early can submit a request for Beta Access right on the game’s Steam webpage. Keep in mind, however, that due to limited slots, making a request may not necessarily grant you access. This method, though, is the most straightforward way to express your interest.
Discord Server & Official Website Events
As a fellow gamer, I’d like to share a tip: You can grab a key for the Fate Trigger Closed Beta by jumping into the game’s official Discord server. That’s where Saroasis Games frequently hosts giveaways of these precious beta keys. Additionally, keeping an eye on event news through the official Fate Trigger website also increases your chances of securing a key. Good luck, fellow gaming enthusiast!
Twitch Drops
Saroasis is offering Closed Beta Keys for the game “Fate Trigger” through Twitch Drops. To gain access, players need to watch an hour of “Fate Trigger” streams on Twitch. Instructions on how to link your accounts for eligibility can be found in Saroasis’ Steam post about this event.
The scheduled launch of Fate Trigger has not been definitively set as of now. However, it’s expected to be a free-to-play game upon its release, and versions for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S are currently being developed.
