As we move into August, the release calendar is about to get busier.
However, next week seems rather quiet, with Ninja Gaiden Ragebound being the main significant event to look forward to.
Here are all the new PS5 and PS4 games coming out next week.
New PS5, PS4 Games Next Week (28th-3rd August)
- Achilles Survivor (29th July – PS5, PS4): “Achilles: Survivor is a fast-paced, single-player bullet heaven set in Ancient Greece. - Day of the Shell (29th July – PS5, PS4): “Day of the Shell is a fast-paced tactical roguelite, where each turn is played in a single click.”
- Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap (29th July – PS5): “Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap combines chaotic third-person combat with devious trap-laying strategy. Enjoy endless replayability as your War Mage grows stronger with every battle. Repel relentless orc hordes solo or with up to 4 players.”
- Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game (29th July – PS5): “Welcome Home, Hobbit! – From the creative studio, Wētā Workshop, live the cosy life of a Hobbit in the wonderfully serene landscape of the Shire. Discover, decorate, and share in this idyllic corner of Middle-earth. Join friendly Hobbits and familiar faces awaiting your arrival in Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings™ Game.”
- 9 Years of Shadows (31st July – PS5, PS4): “9 Years of Shadows is a side-scrolling Metroidvania by Halberd Studios. Travel alongside Europa, a brave warrior determined to enter the mechanical giant Talos and stop the corruption within before it swallows the world in darkness. Battle through tainted creatures, meet charismatic musicians and uncover the truth behind the curse that robbed the land of all color.”
- Cook Serve Forever (31st July – PS5, PS4): “Chop, stir, and sauté your way through the bustling solarpunk city of Helianthus. You play as Nori Kaga, a food cart chef aspiring to make it big like her role model, the Culinary Queen, Chef Rhubarb.”
- Hololive Holo’s Hanafuda (31st July – PS5, PS4): “Holo’s Hanafuda is a banter-filled card game battler fully voiced by and featuring hololive talent! Join Nakiri Ayame, Shirakami Fubuki, Ookami Mio, and Sakura Miko on a wild adventure through a strange land filled with card games and chaos!”
- Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (31st July – PS5, PS4): “From the acclaimed team behind Blasphemous, NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound successfully unites the classic lore and gameplay of the Tecmo-developed (now KOEI TECMO GAMES) NINJA GAIDEN series from the classic era with the depth and intensity of the modern 3D entries. - Esophaguys (1st August – PS5): “You are the Esophaguys, old folks with elongating necks! Stretch, bite, and swing yourself around in 1-4 player guttural mayhem, accompanied by the world’s first soundtrack featuring jews-harp music!”
