Subnautica 2 cheat codes: Full list of console commands and item codes

Now that Unknown Worlds’ Subnautica 2 is finally here, you might be feeling a little overwhelmed. We’re here to help with a guide to cheat codes, including how to enable the console and a complete list of item codes to get you started.

Since the game is doing so well, feel free to simplify things for yourself. Let others struggle with the hard parts – we’re focused on building impressive bases and overcoming our fear of the ocean!

Since the game is still in development, we’re likely to run into some glitches. Having console commands available can help us get out of tricky situations that aren’t our fault.

Playing with a friend can make the game less intimidating, and it’s even easier if they already have access through Game Pass.

Now that we’re confident there’s no cheating involved, let’s dive into the Subnautica 2 console commands!

How to unlock Subnautica 2 console

Subnautica 2 didn’t initially release with a debug console, but thankfully, talented modders have made it available. Here’s how you can enable it yourself:

  • Go to Nexus Mods and download UE4SS for Subnautica 2
  • Find your Subnautica 2 installation folder (on Steam, you can right-click the game in your library, select Manage and then click Browse local files)
  • Open the UE4SS download and extract it to \Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64
  • Download Console Commands from Nexus Mods
  • Extract contents to \Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods

After completing these steps, you can press the F2 key during gameplay to open the console, allowing you to freely experiment with Subnautica 2’s settings and features!
