Sienna Miller recently talked about the challenges of parenting, explaining that it’s been a bit easier managing her teenage daughter, Marlowe (whose father is Tom Sturridge), compared to caring for her newborn and 2-year-old daughter with Oli Green.
Sienna told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that she used to think teenagers were the hardest age to deal with, but a recent transatlantic flight with her toddler and newborn changed her mind. She said the flight was a complete disaster and that her toddler is now far more challenging than a teenager – and there’s no reasoning with him.
You know, it’s the stares you get on the plane that really get to you. When your baby is crying, really crying, everyone just looks at you. It’s like they’re silently judging, and you just want to say, ‘Yes, I know!’ It’s so tough.
The 44-year-old added that she ultimately reached her breaking point after landing in New York.
“I got to the immigration line,” she called, “and just broke down.”
The actress from Anatomy of a Scandal was surprised to even be doing an interview on the late-night show, considering she had given birth just last month.
She said, “It feels surreal to be speaking and dressed up like this. Who knew things would change so much since ‘pajama-gate’?”
Earlier that month the G.I. Joe star confirmed her and Oli’s baby had recently arrived.
“It’s happened,” she told TopMob News’ Will Marfuggi. “I have a tiny baby next door.”

She shared that it’s taken some getting used to life as a family of five since she and Oli, 29, shared they were expecting a baby late last year.
She laughed, admitting it was a little hard to get her thoughts into words. “I haven’t had much sleep, but being in love with my baby makes it all worth it.”
