Nick Jonas may be celebrating another musician in his family.
It’s possible the next big musical star could be Malti, the 4-year-old daughter of Jonas Brothers member and actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Her father says she’s already showing an interest in music.
Nick shared with TopMob News on the red carpet at the New York City screening of Power Ballad on May 19th that she enjoys music, adding, “We’ll see what happens.”
It’s clear this little girl loves music, and she especially enjoys songs by her father, Joe Jonas, and her uncle, Kevin Jonas.
Nick, who appears in the John Carney comedy with Paul Rudd, said his daughter loves both him and the song ‘Love Me To Heaven.’ It’s her favorite, and she asks for a video of it at every performance so she can watch it again the next day.
But the 33-year-old isn’t the only Jonas to share insight into his daughter taking the stage.
Kevin Jonas, who has two daughters, Alena (12) and Valentina (9), with his wife Danielle, has joked about the possibility of his daughters and Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s daughters – Willa (5) and Delphine (3) – starting a girl group together.
As the eldest Jonas brother told TopMob News in June 2023 with a smile, “We’ll see.”
For now, the Jonas Brothers are enjoying watching their children grow. Nick, in particular, is loving seeing his daughter Malti experience the joys of being a toddler.
He described her as truly magical during a February appearance on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast. He was amazed by her, saying he could envision her bright future and felt incredibly lucky to witness her talent and everything she is. He simply sees her as perfect.
And it’s even shifted his own perspective on the world.
I was really surprised by how naturally I fell into playing a kid – doing a silly voice and just letting loose,” he said. “I used to be embarrassed to be silly, and I definitely never thought I’d be the type to do a kid’s voice, but suddenly I was!
He shared that he’s captivated by her imagination and loves experiencing the worlds she creates. Being with her has also positively impacted him, making him a better friend, husband, and artist, especially in his songwriting and acting work.
