Yellowstone’s Kelly Reilly reveals which characters she’d like to return for spin-off Dutton Ranch

Kelly Reilly is reprising her role as Beth Dutton, this time in the new series based on the Dutton Ranch. She hopes to see other actors from Yellowstone join her in the spin-off.

Following a seemingly happy conclusion for Beth and Rip in Yellowstone’s fifth season, many viewers believed their story had reached its end.

Taylor Sheridan has created another story for Beth and Rip, along with their son, Carter. This is exciting for viewers, promising more of the intense drama fans love as the couple attempts to build a life outside of Montana.

Even though actors like Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Finn Little return, and the show maintains a similar feel to the original Yellowstone, most fans won’t find much else that’s familiar.

We spoke with Kelly Reilly for TopMob and asked if she’d be interested in having any of the actors from Yellowstone appear in future episodes of Dutton Ranch.

I’d really like to see some of the actors from Yellowstone return,” she explained. “I’m hoping we can bring back people like Ryan Bingham, who played Walker, and Jen Landon as Teeter.

I really admire some of the actors from Yellowstone and would be thrilled if they joined the cast and crew at Dutton Ranch. It would be amazing to work with them.

Fortunately, Kelly Reilly has some exciting new co-stars joining the cast of Yellowstone, keeping things fresh and challenging. Ed Harris and Annette Bening are the latest well-known actors to join the series, and Reilly hopes for even more success for the show down the line.

I’d really like to see a couple of episodes where Beth reconnects with her brother, Kayce (who’s working as a Marshal). It would be great to see them catch up, as both of their lives have changed a lot.

I’m really focused on working with Ed and Annette right now, and I’m hoping things continue to work out with them.

The future of Dutton Ranch remains uncertain. While the first season has nine episodes, a second season is likely if the show performs well, mirroring the success of other Yellowstone series on Paramount+.

After a hugely successful first season, ‘Marshals’ has been renewed for a second, and Luke Grimes is expected to continue starring in the show.

Surely, at some point, then, we will see the lives of Beth and Kayce intersect once more…

Dutton Ranch airs on Paramount+ on Fridays.
