Gears of War: E-Day Release Date Could Be Announced on June 7th After Recent GRAC Rating

Along with the recently revealed Persona 4 Revival and the upcoming LEGO Skylines, Gears of War: E-Day has also been rated by South Korea’s game rating board (according to Gematsu). This often indicates the game is nearing release and a launch date could be announced soon.

The Coalition’s upcoming cover-based shooter will get its own dedicated presentation on June 7th, immediately following the Xbox Games Showcase. The team plans to show off new gameplay and share details about the game. This will be the first in-depth look at the sequel since it was announced last year, and with speculation pointing to a release in late 2026, we likely will finally learn the exact launch date.

Although Gears of War: E-Day likely won’t compete with Grand Theft Auto 6 in terms of sales when they both release in November, September is shaping up to be a good month for the game. WWE has officially sponsored Triplemanía 34 on September 11th and 13th, which will help promote Gears of War: E-Day.

I’m really excited for Gears of War: E-Day! It’s coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC, and I’m hoping it won’t be too long after Halo: Combat Evolved hits PS5. They’re launching that one on day one, which would be amazing for Gears too! Microsoft might do things like they did with Forza Horizon 6, releasing the PS5 version a bit later, but honestly, I’m just counting down the days!
