Even though Pink isn’t expected to win any awards at the 2026 Tony Awards, she believes hosting the show on June 7th will still be a rewarding experience.
Knowing she wouldn’t be giving a speech later, the musician thanked important guests before performing at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Pink’s mother, Judith Moore, faced challenges while Pink was growing up in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, as Pink shared in an interview with TopMob News. Despite those difficulties, the singer – whose full name is Alecia Moore – deeply appreciates how her mother, a nurse, always found a way to save money for Broadway shows.
Going to see shows with my mom was always the highlight of my year,” the 46-year-old told USA Today, recalling their annual trips to see Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, and La Cage aux Folles. “I’ve always loved theater and live performances, and it really influenced my work as Pink.”
The award-winning singer made sure her mother could attend the event celebrating the best theatrical performances of the year.
Pink told TopMob News she’s thrilled, and it’s all thanks to her mother. Now, watching her 15-year-old daughter, Willow, perform, Pink feels she can finally share the moment with her mom, saying, ‘You made this happen!’ She added that just thinking about it brings tears to her eyes and that it will be a wonderful night.
Of course, her talented child will have a prominent part in the event, and her 9-year-old brother, Jameson, will be dressed smartly in a white tuxedo.
Pink shared that she’s really enjoying having Willow’s support, calling it ‘just really fun.’

Honestly, everything changed because of him! My absolute favorite—the teen—is the reason the entire family uprooted their lives. They just had to move from their beautiful winery in Southern California to the city, all for him. It’s insane, but I totally get it!
I have to say, a big reason we relocated was because I really wanted to be the best mom I could be. And honestly, it was also for Willow – I wanted her to have incredible opportunities to pursue her passion for theater and really experience the magic of Broadway. It meant so much to me to be able to provide that for her, even if it meant juggling a few things – like stepping in as a guest host on The Kelly Clarkson Show!
Even a small request was all it took for Pink to support her oldest child’s Broadway aspirations.
Pink recently shared on CBS Mornings that her daughter has traveled with her throughout her career. She explained that she now wants to prioritize supporting her daughter’s pursuits, saying, ‘It’s your turn. We’ll follow you,’ just as parents should be there for their children whenever possible.
And if you ask her, Willow’s been f–kin’ perfect.
I’m such a huge fan, and honestly, she’s incredible right now! I heard she’s been performing in these amazing charity cabarets and leading workshops, and she just finished playing Carrie in the musical – apparently, it was a really intense role, but she absolutely nailed it. It’s just so inspiring to watch her work; she’s truly killing it and I’m loving every minute of it!
Pink’s one complaint is that means she has less time to duet.
You know, I recently had the chance to perform with Willow on a talk show – we did a cover of “Hopeless War” from The Outsiders musical, which was a lot of fun! But honestly, she’s at that age where she’s really wanting to branch out and do her own thing, and as a mom, I have to admit, I find it a little…well, boring! It’s just what kids do, though, right?
I’m so excited for my daughter this summer – she’s finally ready to go to sleepaway camp all on her own! Meanwhile, my son Jameson is going to Junior Lifeguards where he’ll learn really important things like CPR and, thankfully, how to handle a riptide – honestly, that feels like a skill he’ll use for the rest of his life.
Although Pink says Willow is old enough to spend the summer on her own (though she admits they’re still discussing it), Pink knows her daughter will always need her guidance.
After nearly three decades and thirty-nine studio albums, singer Pink shared that she’s very open and honest with her daughter.
Most importantly, stressed Pink, you’ve gotta get up and try, try, try.
The star said they advised her to simply focus on working hard, being kind, and being a supportive teammate.
Pink started showing that behavior after her daughter, Willow, who was fourteen months old at the time, accompanied her on the 2013 ‘The Truth About Love’ tour.
Pink shared that she’s watched her team members grow alongside her during her tours. While her face might be on the posters, she emphasized that she couldn’t do it without everyone – from the carpenters and lighting crew to the dancers and sound engineers – it truly takes a team to put on a show.
Such is how the Hart fam operates.
We initially came for Willow, but Jameson is doing really well too,” Pink explained. “I’m also enjoying a lot of exciting work – I’m a touring artist, but now I also host a show where I get to connect with people and hear their stories. It’s incredibly rewarding.
Even with all her success, she’s still a huge star. But more importantly, these adorable family photos show she’s a loving mom.

Honestly, I was so frustrated to see the negativity Pink received for a simple beach photo of her son. People were actually criticizing her because he wasn’t wearing a diaper! She rightfully called them out, saying it was shocking anyone would focus on something like that, let alone comment on his circumcision. She explained, like any mom, she didn’t even notice he’d taken it off. She ended up deleting the picture because of the disgusting comments, and honestly, good for her! She’s completely shutting down comments now, and I can’t blame her one bit. It’s just unbelievable the amount of negativity some people feel the need to spread. She even sarcastically posted about a pelican to highlight how ridiculous the accusations were. It’s just…wow. Some people online are truly awful, and I’m so glad she stood up for herself and her son.
