Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Break Up After 9 Years

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are officially each other’s one that got away.

In 2016, the romantic relationship between the parents of Daisy Dove Bloom became known to the public, and they eventually became engaged. After being together for nearly a decade, various sources have confirmed that they have now parted ways.

TopMob News has reached out to reps for Katy and Orlando.

Although neither of them has made a statement regarding their relationship, Orlando was present at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s high-profile wedding on June 26th, attending alone.

This year, speculations about a split emerged between the singer known for “Teenage Dream” and the actor from “Lord of the Rings,” as she embarked on her Lifetime Tour and they started to spend less time together.

Despite moving forward together as co-parents, it’s important to note that Katy, aged 40, and Orlando, aged 48, have parted ways before.

Approximately a year after publicly announcing their relationship on Instagram, the couple momentarily parted ways too. In a statement to People magazine in February 2017, their representatives confirmed, “We verify that Orlando and Katy are granting each other some thoughtful, caring distance at this point.

In our friendship saga, we parted ways temporarily, but maintained our bond during that period. Fast forward to 2018, we found ourselves back together and graced the red carpet as a couple for the first time at the Global Ocean Gala held at the Opera of Monte-Carlo in Monaco, making it an unforgettable year for us.

In the year after their announcement, Katy and Orlando got engaged, and in 2020, they became parents to a girl named Daisy. She is currently 4 years old.

For Katy Perry, who was married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012 and is now co-parenting with Orlando Bloom, raising their daughter together has been one of the most rewarding experiences.

Katy stated on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up in September 2024, “Daisy was like good fortune coming our way.” She added, “Daisy was truly a gift to us and a source of great blessings.

The strong connection between the mother and child has left such a profound impression that it has, in turn, influenced the songwriter’s artistic development.

In an interview with TopMob News in April 2024, Katy expressed, “What she has provided me in my life is the unending, heartfelt love that I had long been seeking. This is where I draw my inspiration from. It’s about completeness, joy, and genuine, profound love.

Previously, the former judge on “American Idol” has only had praise for Orlando, who like Katy, is also a parent to son Finn (13) with ex Miranda Kerr. On a September 2024 episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Katy expressed that one of Orlando’s strong points is his ability to provide stability when she feels overwhelmed, saying “When I falter, he can step in and be my support.

She added, “Because I often come across as self-reliant, saying ‘Alpha, alpha, I don’t require assistance,’ but the truth is, I do. Even though I am strong, I realized that I too need a companion.
