Quinta Brunson plays Janine Teagues, a relentlessly positive second-grade teacher, on the show Abbott Elementary. The series also stars Tyler James Williams, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, and Sheryl Lee Ralph as teachers Gregory Eddie, Melissa Schemmenti, Jacob Hill, and Barbara Howard. Janelle James plays the principal, Ava Coleman, and William Stanford Davis plays the school custodian, Mr. Johnson.
