Josh Dun may be a new dad, but he is not so stressed out.
He’s starting this new phase of his life with his wife, Debby Ryan, who gave birth to their daughter in December. Even months after welcoming Felix Winter Dun, the Twenty One Pilots drummer is still amazed by Debby Ryan’s home birth and how wonderful it is to be a family of three.
Josh shared with TopMob News at the 2026 American Music Awards in Las Vegas that his wife is amazing. He mentioned their baby was born at home, in their bedroom, and is now five and a half months old. His wife traveled to the event yesterday and is doing well, making the experience very enjoyable for him.
Debby shared details about their daughter’s home birth, but for Josh, age 37, the experience was deeply moving and changed him.
I gained a real understanding of the incredible effort and pain women experience during childbirth. It’s truly intense, and I have a lot more respect for mothers now – it’s definitely not easy.
He added, “It’s amazing, it’s magical and awesome watching life come into the world.”
Even better has been seeing Felix change and grow in real time.
Josh shared that while he loves dogs, he’s experiencing a completely new and incredible feeling with his baby. He’s fascinated by watching her grow and become aware of the world, and especially of him.
As for seeing Debby as a mom? He had the highest praise, emphasizing, “She’s crushing it.”
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled to see families finding ways to blend their passions with parenthood! It’s going to be a fun change for Josh and his band as they hit the road. With Tyler already navigating tour life as a dad of three, Josh and his wife Debby are bringing their baby girl along for the ride! It’s a sweet way to include the whole family and share their world with their little one.
He explained that plans are being made on a case-by-case basis, but he really likes the idea of her starting to travel at a young age and becoming comfortable with new experiences and places.
