Paula Abdul is forever a Meghan Markle fan.
Jhené Aiko, the singer of “Forever Your Girl,” was thrilled when Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, featured the song in a post celebrating her eighth wedding anniversary with Prince Harry on Instagram.
Paula shared with TopMob News at the 2026 American Music Awards on May 25th that she was both shocked and deeply moved. She explained that she always appreciates her career and never takes it for granted, and that moments like this are incredibly humbling and touching.
After seeing the shoutout, Paula hit the repost button on her Instagram Story.
Paula followed up with a text, complimenting the photos and thanking the recipient for using her song.
As a huge fan, I was so thrilled to see what Jessica Mulroney shared for Meghan and Harry’s anniversary! She posted some absolutely gorgeous, never-before-seen photos from their wedding day back in May 2019, and simply captioned it, ‘Eight years ago today.’ It was such a sweet way to mark the occasion.
Archie, age 7, and Lilibet, 4, joined in the festivities, watching their father give their mother a special cake.
Days earlier, the family marked another milestone: Archie’s birthday.
“7 years later,” Meghan shared on Instagram. “Happy birthday to our sweet boy.”
Although Meghan and Harry generally keep their family life private, Meghan, who previously starred in the show Suits, has discussed her approach to raising her children.
Meghan shared with Harper’s Bazaar that raising kids at this age is a constant lesson in watching them overcome challenges. She notices they often struggle with things that quickly become easy, and she reminds them to trust the process. She realized she can apply that same understanding and self-compassion to her work as a founder, accepting that making mistakes is a natural part of learning and growth. She emphasizes that perfection isn’t attainable, and it’s okay to stumble along the way.
