Avatar: The Last Airbender Sequel in Danger Following The Legend of Aang Leak

Fans of the Avatar universe were recently shocked when the new live-action film, The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, appeared online before its official release on Paramount+ this October. Now, it looks like the leaks aren’t stopping there. A sequel to The Legend of Korra, titled Avatar: Seven Havens, is planned for next year, but early copies may surface online before its scheduled debut.

Recently, episodes of The Legend of Aang were leaked online by a hacker nicknamed “ImStillDissin,” who has since been arrested after the Paramount hack. Dissin hinted that many people have access to confidential information, suggesting this leak is just the beginning. While they didn’t mention Seven Havens specifically, it’s likely to be the next target for leakers, especially since it’s the next major installment in the Avatar universe after the upcoming movie. Given the excitement surrounding the Avatar franchise, it’s not surprising that Seven Havens remains a potential target.

What is Seven Havens?

The upcoming series, Avatar: Seven Havens, will feature a new Avatar who comes after Korra. Similar to how Aang mentored Korra, this new Avatar will use their unique bending skills to try and restore peace. However, Seven Havens takes place in a world that’s fallen into chaos after a disaster, making things much more difficult than Aang or Korra ever faced.

Paramount’s description of the new Avatar series reveals a young Earthbender unexpectedly becomes the next Avatar after Korra. However, in these troubled times, being the Avatar doesn’t mean saving the world – many believe she’ll destroy it. Pursued by enemies from both the human and spirit worlds, she and her previously unknown twin brother must discover the truth about their past and protect the Seven Havens, the last remaining centers of civilization, before they fall.

The creators of the popular Avatar series, Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, have offered a few clues about their new Nickelodeon show. At last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, they mentioned the series will be heavily inspired by anime and feature a unique creature – a Cat Monkey named Geet. They described a more fantastical and otherworldly setting, drawing inspiration from artists like Moebius and anime from the 1990s. They are excited to share this new world with fans, promising something different from the original Avatar, but still recognizable.
