Bravo Launches Investigation Into Summer House Season 10 Reunion Leak

Bravo is not clapping along when it comes to the viral Summer House reunion leak. 

Following the filming of the tenth season reunion of the reality show—where Amanda Batula, West Wilson, and Ciara Miller spoke together for the first time since Ciara and West revealed their relationship—Bravo has responded to a leaked audio recording that’s been shared online.

A Bravo spokesperson said in a statement on April 23rd that this was a major betrayal of trust and showed disrespect to everyone involved in making the show, as well as the production process itself. They stated they are taking the situation very seriously and are fully investigating what happened.

The network concluded, “We will take appropriate action based on our findings.”

Meanwhile, reunion host Andy Cohen similarly slammed the leak. 

Cohen expressed his outrage on Instagram’s Threads on April 24th, stating that the ten-hour emotional outpouring from participants should not have been leaked. He called the leak ‘disgusting and illegal,’ and disrespectful to the hard work and vulnerability of those involved. He urged fans to be patient and allow the season to unfold naturally, promising they would eventually see everything in its entirety.

I was really fascinated to hear what Cohen had to say about filming the reunion, just hours before news of the leak came out! He gave us a little peek behind the scenes, and it’s all going to air right after the season finale next month – I can’t wait!

Andy announced on Instagram on April 22nd that he was leaving the Summer House reunion. He explained that he’s hosted over 100, possibly 150, reunions in total, and this one was particularly difficult and intense. He simply described it as ‘a lot.’

He reiterated, “It was very intense, you guys, and every question was asked.”

The drama Cohen is referencing started when news broke last month that Batula and Wilson were dating, following weeks of speculation. Fans were shocked because Batula had just separated from her husband, Kyle Cooke, in January. To make things even more complicated, Batula’s close friend, Miller, previously dated Wilson in 2023, and their friendship has been rocky ever since.

In a statement released on March 31st, Batula and Wilson revealed their relationship was a surprise to both of them. They explained that their romance developed from a close, long-term friendship, and they wanted to handle it thoughtfully.

Miller described the relationship between her ex and her best friend as incredibly confusing and hurtful, and she specifically felt betrayed by her friend, Batula.

In a recent interview with Glamour, Miller expressed surprise about a situation involving Kanye West. She said, “You can’t predict what people will do,” but was especially shocked that Amanda, someone she considered a long-time friend and supporter, was involved. The longtime co-stars announced on Instagram on January 19th that they have decided to separate. They shared a joint statement saying the decision was mutual and made with respect for each other. They asked for privacy and support as they both focus on moving forward and healing.

Amanda and Kyle, married since September 2021, shared that while they’ve always been open about their relationship, they’re asking for privacy as they move forward. They appreciate everyone’s kindness and respect during this time.

Austen Kroll, another Bravo personality who knows several people from Summer House, weighed in on the drama. He posted on his Instagram Stories on March 29th, saying, “Apparently, dating your friends’ exes and eating pasta are both trending again.”

Amanda and West publicly confirmed the rumors were true in a joint statement posted on Instagram on March 31st.

We never meant to keep our relationship a secret,” they explained in a message on Instagram Stories. “Because things were complicated, and being on a reality show means everyone’s watching, we needed some time to figure things out privately before talking about it.

We understand this situation has only affected us and we never intended to cause any pain or seem insensitive. We’re grateful for your understanding and respect as we work through this.

Just as West and Amanda revealed their relationship, photos surfaced of Ciara in New York City being supported by a friend. She also received an outpouring of support from friends and colleagues on social media, as people within the Bravo TV community started choosing sides in the drama surrounding the new couple.

Okay, so I’m obsessed with Amanda and Kyle, and it’s killing me! Apparently, Kyle just posted this selfie with Ciara on Instagram – on March 30th, no less! – and it totally felt like a dig at everything going on with Amanda. Like, could he be any more shady? It’s just…ugh, the drama!

Paige DeSorbo, known from Summer House, publicly showed her support for Ciara on Instagram, simply writing, “Ur perfect.” Lindsay Hubbard and Dara Levitan, a new addition to season 10, also voiced their support, with Lindsay commenting “Perfection,” and Dara adding, “And that’s how you do it.”

Two days after Amanda and West went public, Kyle slammed his former friend for moving in on his ex.

He told journalist Adam Glyn in a TikTok video posted in April that he felt deeply betrayed. “He just completely ended our friendship,” he said, questioning, “Whatever happened to the ‘bro code’?”

Kyle also insinuated West’s intentions were calculated.

He told Adam that West is skilled at understanding his audience and knows exactly how to appeal to women. People are impressed, thinking West has really turned things around, but it’s clear he’s carefully crafting his image to gain support.

Ciara’s longtime BFF Paige DeSorbo made it clear whose side she’s on amid the fallout.

We’re truly there for Ciara, as a real friend should be,” said a cast member on the April 3rd episode of their Giggly Squad podcast. “We’ve been talking to her and offering support, and we completely stand by her. We would never try to profit from something so painful for a friend.”

Paige went on to share “the final thing” she was going to say about the situation. 

Paige emphasized that Ciara is a strong, smart, and capable woman. She explained that Ciara will share her thoughts and feelings when she’s ready, and Paige wouldn’t want to speak for her.

After waiting a week to process things, Ciara finally spoke up and gave a brief update on how she was doing.

Ciara, age 30, was direct about what she wanted for the relationship, telling the other person, “I think we should get married.”

Following a week of backlash, Amanda broke her silence to address angry fans. 

In a recent Instagram post on April 10th, the 34-year-old expressed sincere apologies to anyone they’ve hurt or disappointed, particularly those they’ve contacted directly.

She explained that she’s trying to get back to a more normal life for her own well-being. If people see her out and about or active online, they should understand she’s still deeply affected by what’s happened and isn’t trying to pretend it didn’t.

Plus, she promised fans will get more answers to their myriad of questions soon.

Amanda confirmed she’ll be at the reunion and will answer any questions truthfully and straightforwardly when she’s there.

Ciara recently told Glamour that dealing with personal heartbreak is hard enough, but having it happen so publicly adds another level of difficulty. She specifically mentioned how challenging it was to watch her past relationship play out on television in the show’s tenth season, calling it incredibly disorienting.

The woman, age 30, said she was much closer to Amanda before the scandal came to light. She also mentioned she and West were trying to improve their relationship. Because of that previous closeness, she felt Amanda’s actions were a greater betrayal than West’s.

Ultimately, people are who they are,” Ciara explained. “Regardless of what’s happening with me and West, you can’t always predict what a man will do.
