Brooke Hogan Denies Affair With HGTV Costar Scott McGillivray

Brooke Hogan knocking this rumor out.

Singer Christina Elmore, who has 16-month-old twins Oliver and Molly with her husband Steven Oleksy, has clarified that she is not dating her co-star Scott McGillivray from the HGTV show Rock the Block. She was responding to rumors about a possible romantic connection.

She addressed online rumors on Instagram April 28, saying people have been speculating about a possible relationship between her and Scott. She called the comments ‘mean and hateful’ and asked people to stop.

After playfully apologizing for how cute she and Scott looked together on camera, the 37-year-old daughter of the late Hulk Hogan pointed to the first picture in her post. It showed Steven feeding Scott with a fork.

Brooke concluded by sharing photos of Scott and her husband, jokingly suggesting, “If anyone should be concerned, it’s Scott about my husband, a hockey player, stealing his heart!”

Brooke also shared photos of Scott and Steven happily holding Oliver and Molly, and a fellow actor from her show left a comment on the post.

Okay, so I was totally scrolling through everything and saw this post from Scott, and honestly, I nearly lost it! He wrote, and I quote, ‘I never fed Brooke like this!’ Can you believe it?! Then he added, ‘Just Steve.’ Just… Steve! It’s like a secret code or something, and I’m desperately trying to decode it. It’s all so cryptic and amazing! And the fact that he mentioned Sabrina, his wife, just makes it even more… everything! I’m obsessed.

Brooke recently addressed rumors about her relationship with Scott, following comments she made about adjusting to life as a new mother last year.

She told Page Six in an interview published on April 22nd that being a mom is “so much fun.” She feels especially grateful for her twins, saying they feel like a reward for any difficult times she’s faced in life, and a blessing from a higher power, along with her husband and children.

It’s really sweet to watch them,” she continued, referencing her children. “They’re just beginning to get to know each other, and they’ll often make eye contact and smile.

She also made sure to spare some kind words for Steven, who she married in 2022.

Brooke described her partner as a lifesaver, playfully calling him “Saint Steven.” She explained that he’s a truly kind person who has had a profoundly positive impact on her life, leaving her feeling like he’s in a league of his own.

Brooke and Scott aren’t the first actors whose on-screen chemistry led to dating rumors. Here’s a look at other co-stars who were never actually a couple…

Although Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell seemed to have chemistry while filming Anyone But You, they’ve confirmed they are just friends. Despite lots of speculation about a romance during interviews and promotional events in 2023, they’ve made it clear their connection is not romantic.

According to Glen, the key to a successful romantic comedy is having fun and genuine chemistry between the leads. He shared with the New York Times in April 2024 that he and his co-star, Sydney, naturally have both. This connection, he believes, makes audiences want to emulate what they see on screen, and he thinks embracing that dynamic was crucial to their success. He also praised Sydney as being very intelligent.

At the time, Sydney was engaged to Jonathan Davino, though they ended their seven-year relationship in March 2025. She maintained that she and Glen hadn’t exaggerated their on-screen connection before the romantic comedy came out.

The media were the ones who created the situation, not us,” she explained to Variety in October 2025. “The tabloids and journalists simply fabricated the story and continued to fuel it.”

She stressed that she and Glen have a real connection built on love and respect. She enjoys spending time with him, and she believes others recognized how well-suited they are as a couple.

Emma Watson has revealed she had a childhood crush on her Harry Potter co-star, Tom Felton (who played Draco Malfoy)! During the 20th anniversary special, she admitted to falling for him while filming Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. She used to check the daily filming schedule hoping his name (and number 7) would be on it, making the day extra special. While Tom saw her more like a little sister, Emma’s confession sparked a wave of fans online hoping they might become a couple. However, Emma has clarified in an interview with British Vogue that they remain close friends, speaking weekly, and find the fan reaction “sweet.”

Remember how Ross and Rachel seemed like they could have been a real-life couple? During the Friends reunion on HBO Max, Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, who played the iconic duo, revealed they actually had a crush on each other during the show’s first season. David explained that while they were both interested, timing never worked out because one of them was always dating someone else. They always respected those boundaries. Jennifer recalled joking that it would be awkward if their first kiss was on national television—and that’s exactly what happened, in the coffee shop! Instead of pursuing a romance themselves, they put all of their feelings into their characters, Ross and Rachel.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are arguably the most beloved on-screen couple ever, and fans have been hoping they’d get together since their 1996 film, Titanic (even playfully teasing Kate for not sharing the door!). Despite never becoming a couple, they’ve maintained a strong friendship, with Kate recently telling The Guardian they’re “bonded for life.” Over the past twenty-plus years, from red carpet appearances at the 1998 Golden Globes to DiCaprio sweetly watching Winslet during her emotional 2009 Golden Globes acceptance speech, it’s clear their connection has only deepened – and a fictional iceberg hasn’t changed that.

The intense connection between the actors in the 2019 film A Star Is Born and their subsequent public appearances led many fans to overlook the fact that both were already in relationships at the time – Bradley Cooper with Irina Shayk, and Lady Gaga with Christian Carano. Despite this, Gaga openly shared that she felt an immediate and strong connection with Cooper from the moment they met. This closeness was particularly evident during their memorable performance of their Oscar-winning song, “Shallow,” at the 2019 Academy Awards, which happened shortly after Gaga ended her engagement.

Following their performance, Lady Gaga quickly dismissed rumors of a romance with Bradley Cooper, telling Jimmy Kimmel that the connection they displayed was intentional. Cooper, who split from Irina Shayk later that year, didn’t publicly address the speculation until November 2021, when he told The Hollywood Reporter that the onstage chemistry was part of the act. He explained that their characters in the film were falling in love during that scene, and the powerful moment played out in front of a live audience. He joked that it would have been awkward if they hadn’t appeared to connect while performing.

Okay, so I’ve been completely obsessed with Keanu and Sandra since Speed came out, and honestly, everyone always felt like there was something more, right? For years, everyone’s been buzzing about a secret romance, but Sandra has always shut it down. She told Esquire it never happened, but then added this little “who knows?” which just keeps the dream alive! She basically said Keanu is just one of those guys everyone gets along with, and they could maybe have worked as a couple, but they just ended up as amazing friends. She loves that he’s a great listener, and it’s so sweet! But here’s the thing that really gets me: she casually mentioned, like a year after Speed, that she’d never had champagne and truffles, and Keanu… he actually sent them to her! With flowers! He just thought she might want to try them! Can you even?! It’s the sweetest, most thoughtful thing ever, and it just proves how incredible he is. They’ve done The Lake House too, and they just seem to genuinely adore each other. It’s not a romance, maybe, but it’s something truly special, and I live for it.

Fans love seeing Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone together on screen, having starred as romantic leads in three movies, including La La Land. Although they’ve never been a couple in real life, working together has created a strong connection between them. At the 2018 Telluride Film Festival, Emma shared how much Ryan means to her and how he’s influenced her life and career, calling him a “dear, wonderful friend.” She admitted she couldn’t imagine her life without him, and that he’s incredibly special.

Before La La Land came out in 2016, Emma playfully joked to TopMob News that Ryan had to get a restraining order against her due to how often they worked together.

Despite the joke, Ryan said he enjoys working with Emma, explaining that their familiarity brings out the best in both of them because they can support each other in ways strangers couldn’t.

Jim and Pam’s relationship on The Office is considered one of television’s most iconic romances, and fans eagerly followed their connection throughout the show’s nine seasons. Despite the strong on-screen chemistry, actors John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer never became a couple in real life. However, Jenna has spoken about a deep connection they shared, saying that parts of her and John embodied Jim and Pam, leading to genuine feelings. She described John as a long-time partner and someone she’ll always be close to. John later clarified that her comments about being “genuinely in love” were misinterpreted and taken out of context, and he felt bad that she received negative attention for it. Their characters’ enduring connection will always be remembered by fans, symbolized by the famous teapot.

As a longtime fan, I remember all the buzz around Bradley and his co-stars! It wasn’t just with Gaga; people were shipping him with Jennifer Lawrence after Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle for years. I even recall Howard Stern cheekily asking Bradley back in 2015 when he and Jennifer were going to get together! Bradley immediately shut that down, saying they just weren’t that kind of couple. And at the Golden Globes in 2013, when Entertainment Tonight pressed him about dating Jennifer, he laughed it off, saying ‘no, my God, no!’ It’s clear he’s always been good at handling those kinds of rumors.

Although Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson starred together in the 2006 romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and fans were hoping they’d become a couple in real life, they never dated. In a 2020 interview with Howard Stern, Matthew explained that he generally preferred to keep his work life separate from his romantic life. He said he and his costars, including Kate, were good about maintaining a professional relationship, even if there were occasional crushes. They always prioritized keeping things professional.

And with that, the chance for their love to blossom died, just like that love fern.

These top-tier friends have incredible chemistry on screen – think Ocean’s Eleven – and that connection clearly extends to their real-life relationship, which is purely a close friendship. You can see it in their fun interviews, how warmly they speak about each other publicly, and even in generous gestures like George Clooney letting the Roberts-Moder family use his Lake Como house to celebrate their anniversaries. It’s a testament to their genuine bond!

Every New Year’s Eve, people always speculate about whether best friends and CNN’s Live From Times Square co-hosts, Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, have ever been more than just friends. During an interview on Howard Stern’s radio show, Andy was asked why he’s never fallen for Anderson. He explained that their relationship is simply a strong friendship and that they’ve known each other for so long, romantic attraction isn’t part of the equation.

Interestingly, the two were originally set up on a blind date over 25 years ago. Anderson recalled on The Tonight Show that when straight friends try to match up two gay men, they often suggest they meet. However, Anderson said he knew within the first 45 seconds of a phone call to arrange the date that he wouldn’t be going out with Andy.

He explained that Andy made a dating faux pas by immediately asking about Anderson’s mother, Gloria Vanderbilt. Andy jokingly admitted he was excited about the possibility of dating someone from the Vanderbilt family!

Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt had a great time filming the 2009 movie 500 Days of Summer. However, Joseph later confessed in a 2012 Playboy interview that dating Zooey, who was also a close friend, would have been uncomfortable. He acknowledged that fans often wished they were a couple, saying they both found it amusing, especially considering their decade-long friendship.

Before Zac Efron officially dated his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens, many people thought he was involved with their close friend, Ashley. Their on-screen romance in a 2006 episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody only added to the speculation.

Even now, Zac and Ashley remain very close, with Ashley often referring to him as her “brother/best friend.” However, she did reveal in an interview with Elle that he was her worst onscreen kiss.

She explained that it felt awkward because they were like family. She also noted the difference in acting styles between Disney Channel and the CW network, where he had more experience.

Ashley said he tried to kiss her with too much enthusiasm, prompting her to tell him to stop, as it wasn’t appropriate for Disney Channel. She emphasized that their close relationship, having already worked together and known each other for years, made the experience particularly strange.

Though they played a couple – Chad and Taylor – on High School Musical, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman remained close friends after leaving the Disney series. They recently shared the screen again in the 2021 Lifetime Christmas movie, A Christmas Dance Reunion. Corbin shared on Instagram that working and dancing with Monique after 13 years felt like “coming home,” and that starring in a Lifetime Christmas movie had always been a dream, especially alongside someone he considers a favorite person. Monique also expressed hope for future collaborations, telling People magazine that she and Corbin share a special chemistry similar to iconic movie couples like Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, and Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, and she believes they have the potential to create that same magic on screen.

Despite playing the famously ambiguous couple Mulder and Scully on The X-Files, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson didn’t always get along while filming the show. In a 2008 interview with Metro UK, David admitted they frequently argued during the first eight seasons, explaining that becoming too familiar with someone can lead to irritation. He said they would argue over trivial things and sometimes couldn’t stand being around each other.

Despite their on-set tension, fans continued to root for a real-life romance between the two actors. A photo from a lunch date in May 2021 went viral, which David found amusing. He told People magazine that Gillian suggested they take a picture before he left, and he was surprised to learn how much attention it received. He admitted he doesn’t usually see that kind of reaction, but was pleased people were still interested in their connection after so many years.

Fans who want to see Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans become a couple are buzzing! Though they’ve acted together in eight films since first sharing the screen in 2004’s The Perfect Score, the two stars have never dated in real life. However, Scarlett and Chris have become very close over the years. In a March 2020 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Scarlett described their connection as a result of knowing someone for a decade and developing a comfortable intimacy that comes from spending a lot of time together and understanding each other’s vulnerabilities.
