LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on PC Demands 24 GB RAM for 4K/60 FPS

Because the price of components like RAM and graphics cards is going up, PC gamers are demanding better optimization from games. While the recommended amount of RAM for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has been lowered from 32 to 16 GB, you’ll still need a powerful computer to run it smoothly, particularly if you want to play in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.

To run the game at Low settings with 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 (4 GB), AMD Radeon RX 6400 (4 GB), or Intel Arc A580 (8 GB) graphics card. For Medium settings at 1440p resolution and 60 frames per second, you’ll need a Core i7-12700 or Ryzen 7 5800X processor, 16 GB of RAM, and either an RTX 2070 SUPER (8 GB), Radeon RX 6650 XT (8 GB), or Arc B580 (12 GB) graphics card.

To play games at the highest settings with 2160p resolution and 60 frames per second, you’ll need a powerful processor like the Core i7-14700K or Ryzen 7 9700X, along with 24 GB of RAM and a graphics card such as the RTX 4070 (12 GB) or Radeon RX 9070 XT (16 GB). No matter what hardware you choose, you’ll also need Windows 11 and an SSD with at least 50 GB of free space for installation.

These settings appear decent at first glance, but the performance numbers rely on using upscaling technologies like Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, or Intel XeSS, along with Frame Generation.

It’s still unclear if this will affect PC game sales, particularly with the release of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on May 22nd. We’ll share more information as it becomes available.
