To build excitement for the upcoming season on HBO, a new behind-the-scenes clip from House of the Dragon shows the cast and crew discussing how they created the show’s biggest moments. The preview also includes never-before-seen footage, and introduces new characters like Roderick Dustin (played by Tommy Flanagan), Torrhen Manderly (Dan Fogler), and Alysanne Blackwood (Annie Shapero).

Peter Jackson recently announced that a new Tintin movie is in the works. Speaking at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, where he received an honorary Palme D’or, he expressed some embarrassment that the project has taken so long to come to fruition. He stated, ‘Steven [Spielberg] made his film, and then for 15 years I haven’t made mine. I feel awkward about that.’

The Season 23 finale of the show ended with a tense standoff between Torres and Mateo (Patrick Keleher), Tim McGee’s son. Mateo revealed he had a gun, and a gunshot immediately followed, leaving viewers unsure who fired the weapon. Showrunner Steven D. Binder recently explained that someone was shot, but thankfully the injury isn’t life-threatening. This means even if Torres was the one hit, the character will survive.

When NCIS: Origins was first announced, it was promoted as the story of how Leroy Jethro Gibbs started his career with NCIS, showing events that would later impact the original series. It was therefore unexpected when the show revealed in its first episode that it was actually focused on the story of Lala – who she was and her connection to Gibbs. The show spent two seasons following Gibbs’ early days at the Camp Pendleton office with his team, alongside a developing romantic relationship with a colleague. However, the end of season two makes it clear that this initial period of the show has come to a close.

As The Boys heads toward the end of its fifth season, it seemed like there wasn’t much space for surprise celebrity appearances. The show is known for featuring famous faces, both for quick jokes and longer roles, but Samuel L. Jackson’s appearance in the latest episode still came as a huge surprise to viewers.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner David Uziel explained the decision to cast Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly instead of Peter Parker. He stated that Peter Parker is strongly associated with youth and growing up, while Ben Reilly offers a chance to tell a different story, separate from the typical Peter Parker narrative.

On May 15th, Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) are back in a new series, Dutton Ranch, picking up about a year after the events of Yellowstone. This fourth spin-off from Yellowstone moves the couple from Montana to Texas, where they face challenges as newcomers and encounter powerful rivals among the local ranching community.

When Prue McKeel’s baby brother is kidnapped by a flock of crows, she fearlessly embarks on a dangerous rescue into the Wildwood – a magical forest secretly located near Portland, Oregon. Accompanied by her clumsy but devoted classmate, Curtis, Prue encounters talking animals, outlaws, and powerful characters motivated by sorrow and desire. As they become entangled in a conflict that could destroy the forest’s delicate balance, Prue must find inner strength and faith she never knew she had. To save her brother and the future of Wildwood, she’ll have to risk it all.

A really cool part of the Ben 10 comic is how it leans into the creepy side of the show. The comics add even more disturbing detail to Ben’s transformations into aliens, and both the aliens and villains have even more unsettling designs. This is especially clear with a newly revealed redesign of a classic villain – based on the cover art alone, it could be the best redesign the series has ever seen.

The new project isn’t a movie, but a World War II documentary series coming to the History Channel on May 25th. Titled World War II With Tom Hanks, the series has 20 hour-long episodes and will begin with a three-episode launch. It will be available worldwide in 200 countries and translated into 40 languages.
