Warner Bros. has announced two new movies for 2027. The Revenge of La Llorona is scheduled for release on April 9th, and a new prequel to the Ocean’s series will arrive on June 25th. These films join previously announced 2027 releases including Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, F.A.S.T., Man of Tomorrow, and a sequel to Minecraft.

The horror series From will conclude after its fifth season, according to the show’s executive producers. Season four is set to premiere on MGM+.

Starting May 1st, 2026, the movie Conan the Destroyer will no longer be available to stream on Netflix.

The TV series Wayward Pines, which aired for two seasons on Fox, centers around Secret Service agent Ethan Burke. After a car accident, he finds himself in the isolated town of Wayward Pines, Idaho, and struggles to contact the outside world. Determined to find his wife and child, he also tries to recover his lost memories and uncover the town’s secrets. Although the show featured a strong cast, including Matt Dillon, Carla Gugino, and Toby Jones, and received a 60% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it was ultimately cancelled after its second season.

Though it marked a significant shift in how stories were told, the series starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell quickly became a streaming hit. The show begins with the deaths of Preston (Russell) and Paul (Matthew Fox) in a helicopter crash, and the first season focuses on the immediate fallout. The first six episodes of The Madison conclude with Stacy (Pfeiffer) returning to Montana from New York City, fundamentally altering the future for her and her family. Paramount+ has confirmed a third season is in the works, with episodes already planned, even though a release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Producer Jason Blumenthal told Entertainment Weekly that Kyle Gallner was ideal for the role of He-Man because he had the right build and was also someone audiences could connect with. Blumenthal explained that Gallner fully committed to physically transforming for the part, but also possessed a natural charm that allowed him to deliver the film’s humor without forcing it.

Peter Safran announced at CinemaCon that filming for “Man of Tomorrow” begins next week, as reported by Cosmic Book News. Although it was previously known the production would start sometime in April, Safran’s statement provides a specific date. Rachel Brosnahan, returning as Lois Lane, also shared on the “Hot Ones” show that she’ll be starting filming soon.

The second season of Devil May Cry will start streaming on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. The streaming service revealed the date with a short preview last month. Like the first season, there will be eight episodes, and all of them will be available to watch at once.
