On Friday, May 16th, it was revealed that the film “Sinners” earned $4.4 million domestically and $1.2 million internationally, bringing its total global box office revenue to an impressive $303.5 million. This figure surpassed the $300 million mark during its initial weekend in cinemas, making it the fourth movie this year (in 2025) to achieve this significant milestone – following “Captain America: Brave New World”, another Warner Bros. production, “A Minecraft Movie” (also distributed by Warner Bros.), and “Ne Zha 2”.

Beginning June 1st, Tubi will offer Liam Neeson enthusiasts a chance to stream Taken 1, 2, 3, and A Walk Among the Tombstones at no cost. These action-packed, suspenseful films showcase Neeson’s prime acting prowess, significantly contributing to his rise as one of the leading action stars. The series, conceived by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, revolves around Bryan Mills, a former CIA agent whose life is drastically altered when his 17-year-old daughter gets kidnapped in France. In response, Mills embarks on a global pursuit of the kidnappers to exact revenge in this high-speed thriller.

I must admit, Vaughn’s role in that particular film stood out as something unique in his body of work when it first came out, and even now, it retains a degree of singularity. Yet, looking back, I realize he’s always been open to venturing into the depths, even amidst his more popular comedy projects. He truly embodied the character, serving as a solid pillar for one of the top action films of the 2010s. For movie enthusiasts who find fist fights their cinematic solace, it could make an intriguingly unconventional pairing with Vaughn’s latest film, the delightful culinary comedy “Nonnas“.

From an external perspective, there’s much debate surrounding the identity of ‘D.’ This individual is often perceived as the adversary of a figure symbolizing the Celestial Dragons, commonly understood as God in this context. Those who embody the Will of ‘D.’ often face disfavor from the Five Elders and Imu. The D. Clan, in general, are seen as powerful forces shaping the world while casually embracing mortality. However, it’s essential to note that not all characters with ties to the Will of ‘D.’ exhibit the same traits. For instance, Portgas D. Rouge and Trafalgar D. Water Law’s parents aren’t renowned figures in world history, and Jaguar D. Saul wept upon fearing death at Aokiji’s hands. Clou D. Clover also didn’t smile as he met his end. Hence, while some characters may not embody all the traits associated with the Will of ‘D.’, they can still claim it as their inheritance.

The surprising demise of Natasha in “Endgame” has been eclipsed by the lasting influence she’s had, particularly through the arrival of Yelena Belova. Since “Black Widow” followed “Endgame”, viewers could appreciate Yelena readying to assume the role of the MCU’s Black Widow. It made it simpler for the audience to perceive the film as Yelena preparing to succeed her sister. Regrettably, Natasha and Yelena didn’t share more screentime together, but Yelena has vowed to ensure that Natasha’s courageous acts are never forgotten in the MCU.
