New Final Fantasy 7 DLC Officially Available Now

The third and final game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake series is still being made. But before the story of Cloud Strife wraps up, Square Enix is releasing new downloadable content that any Final Fantasy VII fan will want to check out. Surprisingly, this DLC isn’t for either of the Final Fantasy VII Remake games themselves, but for the popular online game, Final Fantasy XIV.

James Gunn, who is co-leading DC Studios and directing the new Superman movie coming out in 2025, expressed his annoyance on Wednesday, April 8th, after Deadline reported that Ella Purnell (Fallout), Adria Arjona (Andor), and Marisa Abela (Highlander) were being considered for a role in the film—thought to be the character Maxima.

Joel Kinnaman Claims ‘Peacemaker’ Was His Last Time as Rick Flag Jr. in the DCU

Rick Flag Jr., played by Joel Kinnaman, died in The Suicide Squad. He led the team in both Suicide Squad films and was one of only four actors to appear in both. His death came during a tense fight with Peacemaker (John Cena) after Rick tried to reveal the truth about the government’s involvement with Project Starfish. Although Kinnaman later made a cameo appearance in Season 2 of Peacemaker, it wasn’t clear if this would be his last role in the DC Universe, after only appearing in three projects.
