The Downton Abbey alternate endings…..

We considered a couple of different endings. One idea showed Mary returning to work at the library, but we ultimately chose the scene honoring Maggie, which I believe was the stronger choice. It always felt like the right way to conclude the story. The final scene of Mary, Cora, and Robert saying goodbye was meant to give the audience a sense of closure and moving forward. Although it appears Mary is alone, she actually has the staff and family around her, suggesting a hopeful future. I also appreciated that Mary ended up independent, ready to embrace a new chapter, be happy, and take charge of the estate. While it’s the end of the story, it also feels like a continuation of life.

Marvel Zombies Gets Terrifying New Poster & Spot Ahead of Release

I’m so hyped for Marvel Zombies! They just dropped a new poster and a short TV spot, and it looks incredible. The poster features these really creepy, zombified versions of our favorite heroes – Hawkeye is covered in arrows, Captain America looks totally wrecked, and they all have these glowing red eyes. They’re all circling this mysterious, bright figure in the sky. The whole thing is set against this fiery orange city, and honestly, it’s giving me chills! You can see the Marvel Animation and Disney+ logos at the bottom, so it’s definitely real. I can’t wait to see it on Disney+!

It’s currently unclear where the short will be shown – it could be on Netflix, another streaming service, in theaters, or alongside a future KPop Demon Hunters movie.

Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery Revealed An Alternate Ending For The Grand Finale, And I Agree With Her On Why The Final Version Is Better

While the second *Downton Abbey* film was titled *A New Era*, the release of *Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale* in 2025 truly delivered on that idea of a fresh start. The movie concluded with Lady Mary Talbot, played by Michelle Dockery, officially becoming the head of the family estate. As she stood in the main hall, she reflected on cherished memories of loved ones who had passed away. Dockery recently shared a different possible ending to *The Grand Finale*, but she, like me, believes the final version was the stronger choice.

Robert Redford – OBITUARY

Born on August 18, 1936, in Los Angeles, Charles Robert Redford Jr. had a somewhat turbulent youth, being expelled from the University of Colorado due to alcohol. After a difficult period marked by his mother’s early death at age 40 and various jobs, he found himself in Florence studying art. He eventually returned to the US and pursued set design in New York before discovering his passion for acting. He married producer Lola Van Wagenen in 1958 and began building his career with small roles in television and on stage. A breakthrough came with the 1962 film *The Voice of Charlie Pont*, earning him an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor, which led to the lead role in the Broadway hit *Barefoot in the Park* (and the subsequent film adaptation in 1967). His performance as a bisexual movie star in *Inside Daisy Clover* (1965) garnered him a Golden Globe nomination. These roles paved the way for a string of successful films, culminating in his international stardom opposite Paul Newman in *Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid*, which received seven Oscar nominations. Redford and Newman remained close friends until Newman’s death in 2008.

Blizzard Beach Temporarily Closed for Seasonal Refurbishment

Closing Blizzard Beach is a typical practice at Walt Disney World. The resort’s two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, usually take turns undergoing yearly maintenance. Since 2020, Disney World has generally kept only one of the water parks open at a time.
