Okay, so Bandai Namco just announced that *Code Vein 2* is coming out on January 30th, 2026! It’ll be on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. I just watched the new trailer from the Sony State of Play, and it looks like they’re sticking with that awesome Souls-like combat we all enjoyed in the first game. But get this – they’re adding new partners you can team up with! You can check out the trailer below, it looks really cool.
Players can choose from new characters like a sword-wielding girl with an eyepatch, who fights quickly. There’s also a character who uses floating blades that keep attacking enemies even after the initial hit – great for players who prefer to stay at a distance. Or, you can use a lance to charge up powerful attacks. The game also features incredibly detailed new bosses with devastating attacks like energy beams and huge weapons.
If you buy the Deluxe Edition, you’ll get to play three days early and receive the “Mask of Idris” expansion. This expansion includes a new story and characters, and it will be available next year. We’ll share more information about the expansion in the coming months.
