The highly anticipated *Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024* is coming to PlayStation 5 on December 8th! The game will also be compatible with the PlayStation VR2 headset for a truly immersive experience. This announcement was made during the recent State of Play event, and you can watch the new trailer below.
When *Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024* releases on PlayStation and Xbox, players will have access to 125 incredibly detailed aircraft. These include everything from small planes for scenic flights to helicopters, electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, airships, and even large business jets and military planes. Players can take off and land at over 40,000 airports and runways worldwide, plus more than 60,000 helipads.
The PlayStation 5 version of *Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024* will take full advantage of the DualSense controller. This means you’ll feel different sensations through the adaptive triggers – they’ll change based on your speed and the surface you’re on, and even provide resistance as you fly. You’ll also be able to hear air traffic control directly through the controller, and the game supports gyro controls and customizable touchpad settings.
You can now pre-order *Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024* for PlayStation 5! If you pre-order, you’ll receive the Northrop T38-A Talon aircraft as a bonus. Deluxe, Premium Deluxe, and Aviator Editions are also available, offering extra content and early access to the game starting December 3rd.
