During her Little Miss Drama tour stop in San Francisco on February 27th, the rapper known for “Be Careful” delivered a pointed message that many believe was directed at Stefon Diggs, following reports of a breakup between the two.

During a concert on March 1st, a video posted to X (formerly Twitter) showed the performer telling the audience, “You shouldn’t be supporting someone like me.” She continued, “There are people out there hoping for my downfall, do you understand?”

The Grammy-winning singer, who had a baby boy with the New England Patriots player in November, playfully told the cheering crowd she was confident and wouldn’t tolerate being mistreated.

She continued, saying, “They aren’t messing with me, and they aren’t messing with you either.”

After clips from the show appeared on social media, Cardi B, 33, explained that she was simply rapping the lyrics to her song “Principal” from her album, Am I the Drama?

She recently shared on X (formerly Twitter) that she likes to add a bit of flair when introducing her songs. She explained that these introductions aren’t personal attacks or directed at anyone specifically – she’s simply repeating lines from the songs themselves and asked people to relax.

During her tour, Cardi B – who shares children Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 17 months, with her husband Offset – subtly suggested her current relationship status with Stefon, 32. This came after a critical comment from rapper Bia about the mothers of Stefon’s children.
