Buckle up, F1 fans, because Disney and Formula 1’s “Fuel the Magic” is officially hitting the gas.
Disney and Formula 1 are growing their collaboration, “Fuel the Magic,” and will now be featured at both the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix and the second race of the F1 Academy Series.
Disney and Formula 1 have teamed up in a new campaign called “Fuel the Magic.” Disney’s knack for creating magical and exciting stories fits surprisingly well with the thrilling, event-like atmosphere of every Formula 1 race. This exciting partnership is now heading to Montreal, a fan favorite on the F1 schedule.
Magic Meets Motorsport

The Canadian Grand Prix offers something for everyone – thrilling racing action for motorsports enthusiasts, enchanting Disney experiences for families, and a spectacular event overall. The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is known for its fast pace and exciting, unpredictable moments, and adding Disney’s special touch will make the weekend even more amazing.
I’m so excited about the Disney x F1 activation area! You can see a special F1 Academy car designed with Minnie and Daisy, and even meet the characters themselves – it’s going to be magical! Plus, they’re releasing a ton of new Disney and F1 gear just for the race weekend, so I’m definitely planning to check out all the new clothes and accessories.
It’s also great to see the F1 ACADEMY RACING SERIES, Round 2, featured. F1 Academy is quickly becoming known as a way to help talented female drivers succeed in racing, and it’s fantastic – and important – that Disney’s “Fuel the Magic” campaign is supporting it.
Disney and Formula 1 are continuing their successful partnership, and Montreal is the latest exciting development. According to Liz Shortreed, Senior Vice President at Disney Consumer Products, Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck will be featured in products, content, and events designed to encourage confidence, celebrate uniqueness, and inspire young women to become future athletes and leaders.
As a huge movie and racing fan, I was so excited to see the new Disney x F1 Academy collection drop on May 21st! It perfectly captures that fun, energetic vibe. They’ve taken Minnie and Daisy’s classic style and blended it with the world of F1 racing, creating some really cute and unique fan gear. Think graphic tees with Minnie and Daisy rocking race suits, comfy hoodies, and fun collectibles like pins, keychains, and hats. You can snag it at the track, on F1.com, at the F1 Grand Prix Plaza, and some items are even available on DisneyStore.com!

The Collections: Something for Everyone (Even Your Dog)

Montreal is receiving multiple deliveries of the collection, not just one. These are being released throughout the weekend to maintain excitement.
More items are being released as part of the Disney x Formula 1 collection. On May 15th, look for a new Varsity Jacket signed by Mickey and his friends. Then, on May 21st, a collection inspired by the Montreal Grand Prix – including t-shirts, hoodies, and a collectible pin – will be available at the track, on F1.com, and at the F1 Grand Prix Plaza.
The Disney x Formula 1 Uniqlo UT Collection, first released in March when the racing season began, will be available in Canada on May 18th, perfectly timed for the upcoming race.
The new Disney x Formula 1 collection, featuring clothing, accessories, and plush toys, launches today at 8 AM Pacific Time on DisneyStore.com and at some Disney Store locations.
Disney and Formula 1 are releasing a pet collection—inspired by Pluto, of course! The collection features a three-piece set with an adjustable dog leash, harness, and a handy bag holder for waste. You can find it first at F1 Hub Montreal during the race weekend, and then later in late June at the Disney x F1 Store Trackside and F1 Grand Prix Plaza.
The Story Continues: Mickey x Formula 1 on WEBTOON

Since its debut on March 6th with the Australian Grand Prix, Disney and WEBTOON have been releasing new installments of their original comic series, Mickey x Formula 1: Racing to the Top!, alongside each Formula 1 race. The seventh episode, released with the Montreal race, continues the fast-paced story, mixing the excitement of Formula 1 with the beloved characters of Mickey & Friends and a new group of original characters.
Disney and Formula 1 both excel at creating unforgettable experiences. Disney is masterful at evoking emotion, while F1 is skilled at building intense excitement. When these two forces combine, the phrase “Fuel the Magic” perfectly captures the result.
