One night can truly change everything…
The recently released images and poster for next month’s EastEnders episodes hint at a dark and unsettling storyline.
BBC One’s soap opera will feature a dramatic week of episodes called ‘The Night That Changes Everything‘. These episodes will all take place over one night, starting after the wedding of Vicki Fowler and Ross Marshall.
Several prominent families in Albert Square – including the Beales, Brannings, Knight-Mitchells, and Fox-Truemans – will be central to the unfolding drama.
The story will follow several different groups, each with their own motivations for getting involved in the central conflict, and their actions will have significant, long-term effects on everyone.

The trailer shows the families gathered in the Queen Vic pub as David Bowie’s “Changes” plays. As the song continues, some characters start to move away from each other and slowly spin around.
Are some people set to be torn apart?

Recent promotional images for the soap opera feature Max Branning, along with his children Lauren Beale and Oscar Branning, and his girlfriend, Cindy Beale.
We’ll soon see Denise Fox (Diane Parish), her husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), and Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) featured in upcoming episodes. It’s been revealed that Denise will learn she has blood cancer in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, we see detectives George Knight, played by Colin Salmon, and his partner Nicola Mitchell, played by Laura Doddington. The audience knows Nicola is keeping a big secret: she’s taking money from George’s cruel adoptive father, Eddie (Christopher Fairbank), and allowing him to spend his last days at their house in exchange.
The most interesting new pairing is between recently elected councillor Ian Beale, played by Adam Woodyatt, and Chelsea Fox, played by Zaraah Abrahams. It’s a mystery what could be connecting them!

We’ll have to wait and see next month.
