Fallout Falls on Prime Video Streaming Charts In America

Okay, so I’m a bit bummed – one of my favorite shows, that awesome post-apocalyptic sci-fi series on Prime Video, seems to be losing steam. I just checked, and it’s dropped out of the top 10 on Prime Video’s charts here in the US. According to FlixPatrol, it’s currently sitting at number seven. It was doing so well, so that’s a little disappointing!

Prime Video’s new Chilean period drama, The House of the Spirits, has moved Fallout down to sixth place in the charts. However, the fact that Fallout is still in the top 10 more than two months after its latest episode shows how popular and important it is to the Prime Video library.

Fallout Remains a Hit for Prime Video

Though it might be losing momentum now, the show initially found success after its second season premiered and received positive reviews. Following this, Amazon’s Prime Video quickly recognized its potential and has since built upon the Fallout universe by commissioning another series.

In Season 2 of Fallout, the story takes the characters to New Vegas, the location featured in the popular Fallout: New Vegas video game. The show’s depiction of the ruined city of Las Vegas, Nevada, and the areas around it, resulted in some exciting developments.

Prime Video Is Investing More Into Fallout

Following the strong performance of Fallout‘s first two seasons, Amazon’s Prime Video is increasing its commitment to the show and strengthening its partnership with Bethesda Game Studios, the creators of the Fallout video games. Currently, Prime Video is developing new content, while Bethesda is working on its own projects.

Todd Howard, director at Bethesda Game Studios and executive producer of the Fallout TV series, revealed they are currently writing Season 3. They’re actively discussing how to integrate elements from the TV show into future games, ensuring those additions feel natural and authentic when the next game is released.

He provided the voice for the Ghoul, the same character he portrays in the Prime Video series Fallout, and is expanding the character’s presence before the second season begins.

I don’t really rely on physical acting, to be honest. I’ve done a lot of voice work, and I had to learn how to do that. I can’t pretend to feel an emotion – I actually have to feel it, and I guess that comes through in my body. I’m not even aware of doing it most of the time. But when someone asks for a certain feeling in my voice, I have to connect with that emotion physically and let it affect my body.

I’m totally hooked on Fallout – it’s currently streaming on Prime Video! But, unfortunately, Prime Video hasn’t given us any hints yet about when we can expect Season 3 to start filming, or even when it might finally arrive on the service. I’m already impatient for more!
