Sony’s recent State of Play event was surprisingly good, and I think that’s mainly because they showed off a lot of really impressive games.
But out of all those PS5 games, which one really got you going? Which one stole the show?
I created a fun poll on Push Square yesterday to get people’s opinions, and over 2,200 of you participated!
I expected Marvel’s Wolverine and God of War Laufey to be the biggest hits, and that’s exactly what happened. Those two games really stood out from the rest.
It’s not surprising that the biggest games got the most attention. Wolverine started the show with a gameplay demo, and Laufey finished things off with over 20 minutes of continuous footage.
It was difficult to beat such a strong showing. The two games were very close throughout the voting, but ultimately, God of War Laufey won.
Here’s the top five, if you’re curious:
- God of War Laufey – 746 votes (33%)
- Marvel’s Wolverine – 601 votes (27%)
- Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis – 148 votes (7%)
- ILL – 124 votes (6%)
- Until Dawn 2 – 84 votes (4%)
While Laufey and Wolverine remained popular, support noticeably decreased for other options. It’s great to see Tomb Raider make a strong return, ILL gain attention, and the announcement of Until Dawn 2 being well-received.
