The remake of Gothic Classic will be available on July 28th for $29.99, and pre-ordering it gets you a free console copy. This is just the first of the previously announced Gothic Classic Trilogy remakes. THQ Nordic has also announced that Gothic 2 Complete Classic will launch on September 29th, followed by Gothic 3 Classic on November 24th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Each game costs $29.99 and offers a gameplay experience comparable to the originals. For instance, Gothic 2 Complete Classic features over 500 characters, more than 100 quests, and 200+ weapons and spells. Gothic 3 Classic has more than 50 spells and 100 weapons, but it stands out with a huge, open world and tons of optional quests.
If you’re looking for a modern take on the classic game, Gothic Remake launches on June 5th. It’s available for $59.99 on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, and for $49.99 on PC. Built with Unreal Engine 5, the remake aims to capture the spirit of the original 2001 game – including its factions and immersive world – while offering updated combat.
