Hailey Bieber Is a Golden Goddess in Plated Armor at Met Gala 2026

As always, Hailey Bieber is paving new, uh, rhodes.

Rhode Beauty founder Hailey Bieber turned heads at the 2026 Met Gala on May 4th, making a striking fashion statement for the second year in a row. Her outfit, designed to fit the “Fashion is Art” theme, was a stunning Saint Laurent gown featuring a bold, strapless gold bodice that resembled armor, paired with a sleek cobalt blue skirt. Though she was surrounded by friends and other important people at the Met Gala, 29-year-old Hailey Bieber left her husband, Justin Bieber, at home with their 20-month-old son, Jack Blues Bieber.

Singer Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey, last attended the event in 2021. Last year, Hailey stunned in a short Saint Laurent blazer dress, completing her look with flawless makeup, as she graciously accepted all the flowers.

Despite her enviable visage, the beauty mogul swears her everyday GRWM routine is short and sweet.

In an August 2025 interview with Vogue Italia, she shared that becoming a mother has led her to prefer things that simplify her daily life and make her routine easier.

Her morning routine starts with rinsing her face with water, followed by oil pulling, a tongue scrape, and a mist of Rhode Glazing Mist.

I’ll be honest, when mornings are hectic and we’re rushing to get out the door with my son, I sometimes just quickly spray something on my face and go,” she confessed.

Hailey mentioned that even when she has the time, she prefers to keep her daytime makeup look very simple. She doesn’t really enjoy wearing a lot of makeup during the day.

Of course, the Met Gala is not the time to be basic.

To prepare for last year’s event, Hailey started with an ice bath for her face, followed by a rich moisturizer to reduce puffiness, and then a hydrating face mask.

Beyond her outfit, she always needed two things: a martini, often enjoyed outside the Carlyle Hotel in New York City, and a positive attitude. She’s described the Met Gala as simply “a very cool night to celebrate fashion.”
