Just a week after Billie Eilish surprised fans by appearing with Justin Bieber during his Coachella performance of “One Less Lonely Girl,” Justin Bieber’s Rhode skincare company founder shared that the collaboration had been planned from the start.
Hailey told Time magazine at the Time100 Gala in New York on April 23rd that it was amazing. She expressed deep affection for Billie, saying they both really love and admire her. Hailey also explained that having Billie perform felt particularly special because the two of them first met at Coachella.
Billie, a longtime fan of Justin Bieber, first met him in 2019 at the Coachella music festival during Ariana Grande’s performance. She was so excited that she actually fell to the ground when she saw him in the crowd.
Hailey revealed she’d been hoping Billie would join Justin onstage during his throwback performance for months, but she hadn’t told him about it.
Hailey said she initially thought the idea was really exciting, and she was thrilled to see it actually happen. She also praised the person involved, calling her a great sport and an amazing woman.
The 29-year-old emphasized, “I couldn’t love her more, truly.”
Billie was thrilled with the moment, expressing her excitement on Instagram. She posted some old videos and photos to show how long she’s been a fan of Justin.
In a recent post, Billie shared details proving her extensive knowledge of Justin, including his exact birth time, the hospital and room where he was born, and even the delivering doctor. She also included a screenshot of a birthday message she sent him back in 2014.
