Marvel first revealed the Wolverine game back in September 2021 with a brief teaser trailer.
This September, after more than five years of waiting, everyone will finally be able to play the action-adventure game that’s only available on the PlayStation 5.
Things have been calm recently, but that won’t last much longer.
We’ve now seen the official trailer, showing both gameplay footage and cinematic scenes, and we also know when the game will be released.
So, Insomniac Games has been saying we’d get more Wolverine news and gameplay eventually, but they said it would be Spring 2026. And now look at the calendar – it is Spring 2026! I’m hyped to finally see what they’ve been working on!
People are constantly asking the team for news, even though the studio has already said when they’ll share more. This means the team keeps having to respond with messages like this one.
Fans are eager to know when they can pre-order the game on the PlayStation Store. Insomniac Games explained they want to share more gameplay footage before pre-orders become available.
Within the next couple of months or so, we’ll be seeing Marvel’s Wolverine make itself known.
Sony typically holds a ‘State of Play’ presentation around the middle of the year. They showcased one in early June 2025 and late May 2024.
Okay, so everyone’s buzzing about Wolverine. I’m really hoping we get a big look at it during the upcoming presentation. Honestly, it might even get its own dedicated State of Play, kind of like what they did with Ghost of Tsushima before it came out. That would be awesome!
At any rate, fans won’t have a whole lot longer to wait before Insomniac really lets Logan loose.
