The thrilling third season of Jujutsu Kaisen ended last month on a major cliffhanger, leaving fans eager to see what happens next in the Culling Game. Though a fourth season will take some time to arrive, manga readers know the story is set to become even more intense after the events in Sendai Colony. The season finale focused on Yuta Okkotsu, who faced off against some of the strongest fighters in the battle royale, including the incredibly skilled ancient sorcerers Takaka Uro and Ryu Ishigori, as well as a powerful special-grade curse. While the Culling Game arc is a fan favorite, it has meant that popular characters like Satoru Gojo and Nobara Kugisaki haven’t been featured as much. Gojo remains trapped in the Prison Realm, and Nobara’s condition is still uncertain after suffering a life-threatening injury in her battle with Mahito.
Even though the anime has split up the popular trio and taken Gojo out of the current fight, official promotional materials are still showcasing the group at their best. A well-known Jujutsu Kaisen fan account on X (@Go_Jover) recently shared a new official image featuring Gojo and the first-year students dressed as railway workers. The image includes the tagline, “Enjoy it on the Tokaido Shinkansen and around the city of Nagoya!!”, and appears to be a promotion for Nagoya Station. Fans are already loving this fresh, unexpected look for the characters.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 Will Conclude The Culling Game Arc

Although a fourth season of the anime has been announced, details like the release date and even a first look at new artwork haven’t been revealed yet. The current season deals with the fallout from the Shibuya Incident, which caused major upheaval in the world of jujutsu sorcery. The season begins with the ‘Itadori’s Extermination’ and ‘Perfect Preparation’ arcs, leading into the ‘Culling Game’ – the series’ longest story arc.
Despite the turmoil within the Jujutsu world, the students of Tokyo High are still battling the villains and working to save Gojo from the Prison Realm. The third season brings back many beloved characters – both friends and foes – some of whom will be key players in the story’s climax. Kenjaku has started a dangerous free-for-all, pitting around a thousand sorcerers against each other, including those he empowered and reincarnated ancient masters. However, the fate of Nobara remains a mystery for now.
Although she’s one of the central characters, she won’t be in the third season, and her whereabouts will remain unknown in the next season too. As the fight goes on, Gojo’s students will get closer to saving him. At the same time, viewers will finally discover the real motives of Sukuna and Kenjaku, the series’ main villains. The current storyline is a huge shift in the plot, filled with surprises that lead into the final part of the story.
