The popular action series Kagurabachi is now fulfilling a long-awaited fan request with the start of a new story arc in Part 2. Created by Takeru Hokazono, Kagurabachi gained a huge following even before its debut in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, and has consistently captivated readers for the past three years. Now, the series is entering a significant new phase with this major story development.
The second part of the Kagurabachi story has begun, and the first major chapter is finally delivering on what the series initially promised: the start of the Seitai War arc. This war has been the driving force behind Chihiro Rokuhira’s journey, and many mysteries still surround the Enchanted Blades. Now, we’re finally going to get some answers.
Kagurabachi Part 2 Begins Seitei War Arc With Chapter 113

Chapter 113 of Kagurabachi jumps back in time to show events that happened several years ago. An earthquake on the island of Irishima uncovered a unique mineral ore. Because this ore strongly reacts to spiritual energy, it quickly became a valuable resource, leading to a power struggle. This ore is clearly a dangerous element that will ignite a new, world-altering conflict within the series.
I’m so hyped! The latest chapter of Kagurabachi officially started the Seitei War Arc, and it’s finally happening – the flashback we’ve all been waiting for! We’ve heard stories about this devastating war and how powerful Chihiro’s father’s Enchanted Blades were during it, but now we’re actually going to see it unfold. It’s going to be incredible to witness everything that led to the creation of those blades before we jump back to the present day!
What Does This Mean for Kagurabachi Part 2?
We don’t yet know how long the story will stay in the past, focusing on the Seitei War, but there’s still a lot to uncover about the history that Kagurabachi has hinted at. The second part of the series suggests a major shift in the story. After Chihiro and his friends suffered a significant defeat, he vowed to create a powerful Enchanted Blade, surpassing his father’s. This could mean the story will jump forward in time.
Popular manga like Naruto sometimes skip ahead several years when starting a new story arc. However, the current conflict in Kagurabachi feels much more urgent and fast-paced. Because of this, it’s unlikely the story will jump forward in time, but we’ll know for sure once the upcoming Seitei War arc concludes in the next few months.
