Kim Kardashian is heading to Broadway.
Kim Kardashian is now a producer on the play The Fear of 13, which tells the story of Nick Yarris, a man who was wrongly convicted of a crime. The play stars actors Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson.
She shared in a video on Instagram on April 13th that working to change the criminal justice system has been a very important personal goal for the past ten years. She’s seen how the system can let people down and is dedicated to advocating for those whose voices aren’t being heard.
Kim shared that Nick’s incredible story – being wrongly convicted and spending 22 years on death row before DNA evidence finally proved his innocence in 2003 – deeply moved her, and she was inspired to help share it through a play.
She explained that theater has a special ability to deeply affect people. Experiencing a story live, like this one, is memorable and encourages us to connect with the real people behind the numbers.
The 45-year-old said they hope the show will get people talking about what justice really means.
Oh my gosh, this show… it just gets into Nick Yarris’s story, the absolute injustice of his conviction, and how the whole system just… failed him. It’s so real and heartbreaking. And honestly? Being a producer on Broadway with something this important… it’s a dream come true! I’m just bursting with pride to be a part of bringing this story to light.
As someone who’s always believed in blending passion with purpose, I’m thrilled to share a project that does just that. ‘The Fear of 13’ really combines my advocacy work with my newfound love of acting. You might remember I took the leap and started acting last year, and it was amazing to be on set with such incredible talent like Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Teyana Taylor, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash-Betts, all thanks to Ryan Murphy’s ‘All’s Fair.’ It’s a really fulfilling way to bring important stories to life.
You know, working with those women was truly inspiring. As a lifestyle expert, I always emphasize the power of observation, and being on set with them each day was a masterclass in dedication and skill. I learned so much just watching them work – they’re at the top of their game, and that’s a lesson I’ll carry with me. It really highlighted the importance of showing up and consistently putting in the effort – that’s the best kind of education, honestly.

Kim wasn’t the only one learning on set – her fellow actors were impressed by her as well. Sarah mentioned being amazed that Kim was actually studying to become a lawyer while simultaneously playing a lawyer on TV.
During filming, Kim was simultaneously preparing for the bar exam and managing her business,” the American Horror Story actress told TopMob. She was really impressed by Kim’s willingness to do anything and everything asked of her.
Naomi added that she was “deeply impressive” by Kim.
She’s an incredibly diligent worker,” the Mulholland Drive actress shared. “She picks things up quickly and was truly committed, staying focused, punctual, and able to handle many things at once.”
Kim isn’t the only celebrity trying out Broadway! Here’s a look at other stars who’ve recently made their Broadway debuts.

Kim isn’t the only celebrity trying out Broadway! Here’s a look at other stars who’ve recently made their Broadway debuts.

Robert Downey Jr. has moved from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the stage, recently making his Broadway debut in Ayad Akhtar’s play, McNeal. The play centers around Jacob McNeal, a writer facing a terminal diagnosis who unexpectedly receives a Nobel Prize. Despite his strong dislike of artificial intelligence, he considers using AI to help him write one last novel.
As for why the Iron-Man star decided to hit the stage in the Bartlett Sher-directed production?
In an October 2024 interview with Vogue, he described a new play featuring strong themes and talented people, including Bart and the rest of the cast. He noted that the playwright, Ayad, has a unique style of presenting opposing ideas within the same line, often immediately challenging or undermining his previous statements.
As someone who’s always been fascinated by the preparation actors do for roles, I found it really interesting to learn that Robert Downey Jr. reached out to Bradley Cooper before starting a new project. Bradley, who received a Tony nomination for his incredible performance in The Elephant Man back in 2015, was the one he turned to for advice. It just goes to show how actors often rely on each other’s experiences and insights to tackle challenging roles.
Robert remembered telling someone, ‘Just remember you’ll be aware of your own body – you’ll feel your feet in your shoes – when you’re on stage. The audience will feel supportive, like a soft cushion.’ He told The Independent at the time that he thought that sounded encouraging, so he decided to follow Bradley Cooper’s example and embrace the experience, letting it unfold naturally.

Whitney Leavitt quickly transitioned from competing on Dancing With the Stars – where she was eliminated in November 2025 – to performing in Chicago on Broadway. Originally scheduled for a six-week run as Roxie Hart ending in March 2026, strong audience demand extended her performance into April.
Whitney is popular for her bubbly personality on the Hulu reality show she stars in with Taylor Frankie Paul, Mayci Neeley, and other social media moms. But before becoming a reality TV star, she was a dedicated dancer who trained at Brigham Young University in Utah and always hoped to perform on stage.
She told Playbill in March 2026 that performing has always been a natural part of who she is. As a child, she loved making up dances and putting on little music videos for her family, often gathering her cousins to create shows for the adults.
And yet she still had nerves about taking her dance skills from TikTok to the Great White Way.
In a video posted to Instagram in February 2026, she shared how overwhelmed she was feeling. She explained that performing solo for a live audience was a completely new experience and made her quite anxious. She’d practiced a lot and hoped everything would come naturally when she took the stage the next day, and that she could simply trust in her preparation.

Pamela Anderson showed she could handle the Broadway stage when she played Roxie Hart in Chicago. She felt a strong connection to the role and performed for two months, finishing her run in June 2022.
She told TopMob News in April that she’d lived a very eventful life, with both great successes and difficult challenges. She admitted she never fully understood what she was working towards, but now realizes she was getting ready for something bigger than she ever expected.
She saw a relatable mix of vulnerability and resilience in Roxie. ‘Like Roxie, I understand facing difficulties with humor and dignity, thinking quickly on your feet, and being misrepresented by the media,’ she explained. ‘Ultimately, she manages to find something positive even in the most challenging situations, and that’s admirable.’
Although she was enthusiastic about the role, the former Baywatch star understood she had a lot of preparation ahead of her before she could convincingly play Roxie and wear the character’s famous fringed dress.
She confessed she’d never pushed herself so hard, but she was thriving on it. She enjoyed the demanding rehearsals and the feeling of satisfaction that came with being exhausted at the end of the day. She was learning everything she could, completely immersed in the experience. She’d always dreamed of a life as a performer, but never believed it would actually happen.
And the former Playboy model admitted she was surprised to be cast in the role.
I can’t believe they chose me, it feels a little wild, but I’m incredibly thankful,” she said. “It’s a big risk for everyone involved. Singing takes a lot of bravery, but it’s also a skill you have to practice and develop, and I’m learning so much and feeling myself improve daily.

Tom Felton charmed audiences during a nearly 20-week performance of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, where he returned to play Draco Malfoy as an adult.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always been fascinated by the next generation! This story takes place nineteen years after the Battle of Hogwarts, and it centers around a really surprising friendship. It’s about Albus Severus Potter – Harry and Ginny’s son – and Scorpius Malfoy, Draco’s son. What makes it interesting is that both boys end up in Slytherin house at Hogwarts, and they forge a connection that no one really expects.
Tom described the experience as surreal, saying on Today in June 2025, five months before the show began, that it felt like a dream. He explained he hadn’t played the character in 16 years, and now he gets to revisit the role, but this time as a father within a brand new story.
Despite appearing in all eight Harry Potter movies as the well-known villain, the actor admitted his stage presence wasn’t quite magical.
He explained that the play feels like a completely separate story from the Harry Potter movies he remembers from childhood. Now, instead of being the young audience, he and others are now the parents watching. While revisiting a familiar role, it’s also a new and different experience for him.

Charli D’Amelio first gained fame on TikTok, then showcased her dancing on Dancing With the Stars in 2022. Now, in October 2024, she’s making her Broadway debut in the musical & Juliet.
The influencer was originally scheduled to finish playing Charmian in January 2025, but her contract was extended two times.
As a huge fan, I was absolutely thrilled to hear she was joining the Broadway family! She’s talked about this being a lifelong dream, and it’s so amazing to see it finally happen. She shared that making her Broadway debut, especially with the cast of & Juliet, is a dream come true, and honestly, I’m so excited for her and can’t wait to see her shine!
Although it was her Broadway debut, performing a demanding dance role as a member of Shakespeare’s acting troupe felt surprisingly comfortable, thanks to her years of experience.
She shared with ABC7 that November that dance had always been deeply meaningful to her, and that it allowed her to express herself when words weren’t enough.
Though, it was still hard to grapple with such a prestigious honor.
Charli, also a winner on Dancing with the Stars, shared that she never imagined she’d be where she is today, admitting she often doubted herself growing up. She expressed deep gratitude to everyone who supported her, especially her mom, who tirelessly drove her to dance classes and competitions, and always encouraged her to pursue her dreams, even when she lacked confidence.

Similar to Whitney and Pamela, Ariana Madix was excited to see the musical Chicago. The Vanderpump Rules star earned the night out after a difficult year – she was asked to appear on stage less than nine months after her very public and painful split from her former co-star, Tom Sandoval.
Understandably, she described that chapter in her life to TopMob News as “the rollercoaster.”
Ariana, who performed in the musical from January to April and again from August to September in 2024, explained that it was difficult to summarize everything briefly.
For the reality TV star, this was a chance to overcome a difficult time and achieve great success.
She’s incredibly skilled at manipulating emotions,” she said about Roxie. “She can be incredibly charming and flattering, but if you don’t immediately meet her demands, she’ll quickly turn on you.

Okay, so everyone knows Julianne Hough is a total Broadway star, right? She always dreamed of it! But she wasn’t going to just jump at anything. Then she read the script for POTUS, and honestly, I could just feel her excitement! It was perfect – the right role, the right show. She just knew this was the moment she’d been waiting for. I’m so thrilled for her!
From April to August 2022, Alfonso Ribeiro, known for co-hosting Dancing With the Stars, played Dusty, a public relations aide for a U.S. president. Alongside Rachel Dratch, Vanessa Williams, Julie White, Lilli Cooper, and Lea DeLaria, he was part of a team of seven women tasked with protecting the controversial politician from scandal.
She mentioned discussions about performing on Broadway, but she didn’t want it to be just something she accomplished and moved on from. In an interview with TopMob News in May 2022, she explained she wanted to truly become involved with the Broadway community – to learn from and contribute to it, rather than just make a brief appearance.

Nicole Scherzinger always dreamed of becoming a star. She enjoyed success as the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, traveling the world and experiencing a glamorous lifestyle. However, she truly felt her dream come true when she played Norma Desmond in the musical Sunset Boulevard from October 2024 to July 2025.
Nicole, the 2025 Tony Award winner for Best Actress in a Musical, shared with TopMob News that she always felt unfulfilled. ‘I never felt like I was truly living my purpose or happy with who I was,’ she explained. ‘I knew I had more to offer, and this role finally gave me the chance to fully express myself. It’s been life-changing, and I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity.’
