The new Masters of the Universe popcorn buckets are here, and they’re amazing, particularly for fans of Skeletor as played by Jared Leto! Popcorn bucket designs are becoming increasingly elaborate, like the adorable Yoshi bucket from The Super Mario Bros. Movie, the creepy Ghostface bust from Scream 7, and the terrifying Demogorgon bucket from Stranger Things.
TopMob secured exclusive access to some of the most popular popcorn buckets and collectible cups from the Masters of the Universe collection, showcased at this year’s CinemaCon. The standout item is a Skeletor-themed popcorn bucket—inspired by Jared Leto’s portrayal of the character—featuring a menacing skull, glowing red eyes, and black hood. The bucket’s top opens up, ready to be filled with your favorite popcorn.

Movie fans can also get a popcorn bucket shaped like Castle Grayskull, the famous fortress from the world of Eternia that Skeletor is always trying to take over. One of the castle’s towers even has a built-in cup holder with a straw slot, making it easy to enjoy a drink and snacks while watching the movie.

Fans of Masters of the Universe can now enjoy their drinks with a new collection of cups and fun toppers featuring He-Man, Skeletor, and Castle Grayskull!

As a big film fan, I thought this was a cool find! They’ve made a He-Man Power Sword drink holder for when you’re watching the movie. It actually holds a good amount – 44 ounces, to be exact – and you unscrew the handle to fill it up. Plus, the bottom pops off to reveal a straw, making it super easy to enjoy your drink while you’re lost in the action!

A new, oversized popcorn bucket from Masters of the Universe features He-Man confronting Skeletor on his throne at Snake Mountain. The staircase leading up to the throne is decorated with glowing flames, and the bucket has a compartment in the back to hold the popcorn.

Fans of fantasy creatures will love the Masters of the Universe movie experience, especially the Battle Cat popcorn bucket! It lets you store your popcorn inside a replica of He-Man’s iconic armored tiger companion, which he rides into battle.

As a movie buff who loves collecting, I’ve noticed these special edition popcorn buckets and cups are usually exclusive to each theater chain. So, if you’re a Masters of the Universe fan, you can expect AMC, Cinemark, and Regal to each have their own unique designs – meaning you might need to visit multiple theaters to get them all!
With worries growing that Masters of the Universe might be a big disappointment in 2026 – especially considering its reported $200 million cost – a special item like this unique popcorn bucket could help draw more people to the theaters.
The new movie Masters of the Universe hits theaters on June 5th. It’s directed by Travis Knight, who previously directed Bumblebee, and marks only his second time directing a live-action film. The movie boasts a large cast of 17 actors, featuring Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, and several others.
The film follows Prince Adam, played by Galitzine, as he returns to Eternia with the Sword of Power to defeat Skeletor and embrace his fate as the hero He-Man. Many consider Masters of the Universe to be one of the most anticipated action movies of the year, and its extensive merchandise line seems perfectly suited to its blockbuster potential.
