Meghan Markle Shares Rare Glimpse of “Dream” Lilibet on 5th Birthday

Meghan Markle’s daughter is the queen of her heart.

To mark Princess Lilibet’s 5th birthday on June 4th, the founder of As Ever shared a sweet and heartfelt message about her daughter and Prince Harry’s second child.

“Our dream girl,” Meghan posted on Instagram. “Happy 5th birthday, Lili.”

Along with a touching message, the post featured two adorable photos of Lilibet. One showed her being held by her dad, with Meghan and Harry gazing at her lovingly. The other captured Lili, with her bright red hair, standing in the grass and softly touching a flower.

Now a mom of two, Meghan has often talked about how each stage of motherhood feels unique. She’s also mother to her son, Prince Archie, who is seven years old.

She described the joy of reaching a stage in motherhood where you rediscover personal interests alongside parenting. In a 2025 interview with People, she explained that as a woman, mother, and wife, it’s incredibly fulfilling to reconnect with parts of yourself that were always there but may have been put on hold while raising young children. Having a little more time to focus on those passions as kids get older is a wonderful experience.

Meghan Markle, known from her work on With Love, Meghan, has often spoken about wanting to safeguard the peaceful and secure environment she and Prince Harry have built for their children since relocating to California from the U.K. in 2020.

She described her family as very close, cherishing simple moments like settling Lili for a nap, sharing lunch, and enjoying quiet time together each evening.

Meghan draws inspiration from her family as she continues to grow her brand and the things it represents.

Having a daughter feels especially meaningful, considering how much of my life I’ve dedicated to advocating for girls and women. I see it as a beautiful, continuing family story – including my son Archie and my husband, of course. I love the idea of creating a legacy for her and showing her what it’s like to balance work and motherhood.

Meghan added, “This is something that hopefully can be part of her legacy too.”
