Stefon Diggs Reveals Where He Stands With Cardi B After Breakup Rumors

Stefon Diggs is sharing what’s going on with his relationship with Cardi B.

After speculation about a split with the artist behind “What’s Goin On,” the football player clarified their relationship status. This came after video of a tense conversation between the couple—who became parents to a son in November—appeared online last month.

When asked about his relationship with Cardi, Stefon told TMZ on June 3rd, “She’s an amazing mother and incredibly talented. I love her very much, but you’d have to ask her directly about whether we’re together.”

But according to the 32-year-old, the two are “great.”

Regarding the argument captured in the viral video – the one showing the former New England Patriots player and the rapper known as “Safe” disagreeing outside a Maryland coffee shop – Stefon Diggs didn’t offer much detail, keeping his response fairly neutral.

“What argument?” he replied. “I don’t even think that was an argument.”

Stefon mentioned staying calm during the conversation, and he didn’t appear bothered by Cardi’s attitude either.

 “It’s okay,” he said. “Women get like that sometimes.”

Stefon dismissed rumors of a disagreement with Cardi B, and Cardi had previously explained her seemingly upset expression in the viral video, offering a perfectly reasonable reason for her reaction.

She posted on X (formerly Twitter) on May 13th, saying it’s easy to forget she’s famous. She then jokingly asked if anyone else ever argues with their child’s father when they’re really hungry.

The video started appearing online shortly after Cardi and Stefon were seen together at a Mother’s Day event for the Diggs Deep Foundation on May 9th. They were photographed showing affection for each other at the event.
