Just days before NASCAR driver Kyle Busch tragically passed away on May 21st at age 41, he shared heartwarming birthday messages on social media for his children: 11-year-old Brexton and 4-year-old Lennix, with his wife Samantha Busch.
I was so touched to see Kyle’s sweet birthday message to his son, Brexton! He posted on Instagram on May 18th, saying how incredibly proud he and Brexton’s mom are of the amazing young man he’s becoming. It really warmed my heart!
The two-time NASCAR champion praised his son, calling him ‘the best kid, both on and off the racetrack,’ and shared that he ‘amazes us every day.’
Kyle finished by saying, “Keep up the great work – you can achieve anything! I love you!”
Oh my gosh, he just posted the sweetest thing! It was a whole bunch of family photos, seriously going way back. There was this incredible picture of him hugging his son, Brexton, right after a race – you could just feel the pride! And then, a total throwback, a picture of baby Brexton with his dad! It completely melted my heart, honestly. I’ve saved it like, five times already!

Samantha celebrated her son Brexton’s successful racing season at Millbridge Speedway on Instagram. She expressed how proud they are of his growth and improvement, especially after winning his first Saturday Night Series Championship, and shared her excitement for his future accomplishments.

Samantha and Kyle opted for cute matching leather jackets.

Kyle shared on Instagram about enjoying a fun playdate at the @bundleofjoyfund and finding the perfect pumpkins with @samanthabusch and @brextonbusch. He called the pumpkins ‘the most perfect in the patch!’

Kyle and Samantha took a trip to Las Vegas, and Kyle shared a photo on Instagram celebrating their time together, writing, “I hit the jackpot with you @samanthabusch.”

A newborn Brexton joined his mom and dad on stage at the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards.

Life wasn’t all work and no play for Kyle. In fact, he loved vacations with his family.

Oh my gosh, when Kyle won at Austin in May 2021 – the Pit Boss 250, it was EVERYTHING! Seeing him celebrate was incredible, but the best part? His wife, Samantha, and their little Brexton got to join him in victory lane! It was such a sweet family moment, I was practically crying with joy! I just replay that footage over and over, it was perfect.
