The 58-year-old actor, who plays Lace—a wrestler turned lawyer—in Margo’s Got Money Troubles, was taken to the hospital after filming wrestling scenes. However, the incident wasn’t caused by a failed stunt.
However, her co-star Nick Offerman shared that she was looking unwell – pale and shaken – and had the flu on the day they filmed the fight scene.
She was incredibly dedicated and ensured we captured every necessary shot of her character,” the Parks & Recreation star told People magazine. “She went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed and didn’t miss a single moment for her role.
Offerman said they only had a single day to film the scene. It was shot on a huge set made to look like a fan convention, and included hundreds of background actors.
I was absolutely devastated when I heard Nicole was sick! Seriously, my heart just sank. They announced she had the flu, and it sounded like we might not get to see her at all today. It’s awful because we’ve been planning this whole event for days just for this one chance to see her, and the thought of it being ruined… it’s just a total disaster!
Despite feeling unwell, Kidman remained dedicated and completed her work, though it ultimately affected her health. She later needed to receive fluids intravenously at the hospital, as she revealed.
He explained that he told her he’d always been a big fan, but what truly impressed him was her dedication to the show. He said she prioritized being there, ensuring not a single minute of production time was lost, and he found that incredibly generous and amazing.
Despite a previous experience, Nicole Kidman is open to wrestling again. She told People magazine at the Big Little Lies premiere on April 8th that she’d be very interested in doing more wrestling in the future.

The Academy Award-winning actress surprisingly grew to love the sport, admitting she initially worried about getting hurt, but soon overcame her fears and fully embraced it.
She described a pattern where she’d initially be cautious, but then completely abandon self-preservation and act impulsively.

I was sharing on my podcast recently how strange my recovery has been. Even now, I still get tingling sensations down to my toes, which is pretty wild. To give you some context, just a few weeks ago I was comfortably squatting almost 300 pounds. Now? I can barely stand on one foot, let alone do a squat. It feels like I’ve lost all stability, and honestly, it’s a little scary – it feels like something is seriously off.

Thankfully, @thebrendanrooney quickly helped her, determined she needed medical attention, and rushed her to the hospital. One of the shots came within an inch of her right eye.
Oh my gosh, you guys, it’s just… heartbreaking! Apparently, a tiny piece of something got stuck behind her eye, and the doctors are saying it’s too dangerous to try and take it out right now. She says she can still see perfectly, thank goodness, but they’re going to keep a really close watch on her just in case. I’m seriously so worried, but relieved she can still see! Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, despite its downsides, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier” and receiving negative comments online, doctors began commenting on interviews, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome, a condition often linked to high cortisol levels or steroid injections. This prompted Amy to realize she’d been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section. She later learned she had a form of Cushing syndrome that would resolve on its own, which she called “the greatest news imaginable.” She shared this relief in a February 2024 newsletter, thankful to be healthy.

Let me tell you, back in March 2022, I was so worried about Hailey Bieber! She was having breakfast with Justin when she suddenly started experiencing really scary symptoms – it sounded like a stroke. She shared on YouTube that Justin noticed something was wrong and asked if she was okay, but she couldn’t even respond. She tried to speak, but couldn’t, and the right side of her face started to droop. Thankfully, it stopped and her speech came back, but she immediately went to the hospital to get checked out.
It turned out she’d had a small blood clot travel to her brain, which doctors called a TIA – a transient ischemic attack. Later, tests at UCLA revealed she had a hole in her heart called a PFO. Basically, the blood clot had gone through that hole and caused the TIA. The good news is, she had a procedure to close the PFO, and she’s doing amazing now! I was so relieved to hear she’s feeling great again – it was a really frightening time for everyone.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour.
In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the condition affected the nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it had become increasingly difficult for him to eat.
Fortunately, the paralysis eventually subsided. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, adding that while the situation was frightening and unexpected, he was going to be completely fine and she was grateful he was on the mend.

Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, became concerned and took him to the hospital. There, they discovered he had a brain bleed that caused a stroke.
After surgery, Jamie woke up in a wheelchair on May 4th, unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy. He expressed his gratitude for the prayers he received, saying, “I needed every prayer.”

She explained that her organs were failing. She hadn’t known she had rhabdomyolysis, a condition where the body essentially begins to shut down.

While filming the series, she experienced a severe headache at the gym, which quickly escalated. She described becoming violently ill and realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.
A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a life-threatening stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm. She immediately underwent surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she experienced aphasia, leaving her unable to speak coherently.
After a week, her speech returned, and she was discharged from the hospital a month later. However, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had grown, requiring a second surgery. This procedure was unsuccessful, leading to a major bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia is now fully recovered and says she is “at a hundred per cent.”

While she could have been discharged after the stroke, existing health issues—including lupus and kidney problems—required a longer hospital stay. Cori is now recovering well, stating she’s “doing great” and has been working to regain some motor skills. She’s optimistic about her progress and overall health.

Shailene Woodley struggled with serious health issues throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she revealed she experienced hearing loss, extreme fatigue, and digestive problems. She described a confusing process of receiving multiple diagnoses from different doctors. Determined to find answers, Woodley, who comes from a holistic health background and studies herbalism, sought help from both traditional doctors and alternative healers. This search for well-being lasted for ten years. The physical discomfort led to emotional challenges, including fear of food and struggles with body image and identity.
