You can now watch all eight episodes of the show on Netflix, completing its brief run of sixteen episodes which started in 2024. The series is inspired by the popular Tomb Raider video game franchise and picks up the story after the 2018 game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Hayley Atwell voices Lara Croft as she deals with a difficult past while embarking on a dangerous global adventure. In the second season, Lara is in a desperate race to find valuable African artifacts before a tech genius can use them to cause chaos around the world.

Since Sunrise on the Reaping is set over twenty years before Katniss and Peeta compete in the Hunger Games, they aren’t characters in the main story – they haven’t even been born yet. The book primarily focuses on the 50th Hunger Games, known as the Second Quarter Quell. However, it includes a concluding section where Haymitch shares his life story with Katniss and Peeta after the events of Mockingjay, when he feels safe enough to reveal his past.
