Crossovers between different games aren’t unusual now, but this one really came as a surprise. We definitely didn’t expect to see Phasmophobia and Alan Wake combined!

Yes, the two horror titles are crossing paths in an upcoming event.

The cooperative ghost-hunting game is holding a special event called ‘Phasmophobia by Alan Wake,’ starting on May 12th, 2026.

Very little is known about the event right now, as almost no information has been released beforehand.

Here’s what developer Kinetic Games says about it all:

On May 12th, 2026, the game Phasmophobia will be hosting a special, limited-time event called ‘Phasmophobia by Alan Wake,’ created with Remedy Games. This event will bring the atmosphere of Alan Wake’s ‘The Dark Place’ into the world of Phasmophobia’s ghost hunting.

We’re thrilled to be working with Remedy on this special event, and we’re eager for you to see what we’ve created together.

We’ll share more details on the event closer to launch, but until then, stay in the light.”

Remedy Entertainment, the creators of Alan Wake, appears to be participating in an upcoming event, but details are still scarce and we’ll likely find out more closer to the date.

Still, it’s a cool crossover, and makes sense for two horror worlds to collide.
