PS5, PS4 Racer LEGO 2K Drive Is Getting Bricked: PS Store Removal and Online Server Shutdown

2K Games is removing LEGO 2K Drive from online stores, and its online multiplayer features will no longer be available at a later date.

The PS Store listing for the game has been updated with the following statement:

This product will no longer be available for purchase as of 05/19/2026.

LEGO® 2K Drive’s online multiplayer servers will be turned off on May 31, 2027. After this date, any part of the game that needs those servers to work will no longer be available.

So, from 19th May 2026 — that’s in a few days — LEGO 2K Drive will no longer be available to buy.

Then, just over a year later on 31st May 2027, the game’s online services will be switched off.

You can play most of the game without an internet connection, but you’ll miss out on features like online multiplayer if you’re offline.

We’re not sure why this is starting to occur, but it’s probably because some necessary licenses have run out. We’ll share more information as soon as we have it.

LEGO 2K Drive is a fun game with large, open worlds to race and explore. You can even build and customize your own vehicles using a surprisingly detailed creation tool, and there are tons of races and challenges to keep you busy.

The game did have quite a bit of advertising and in-app purchases, which you can easily skip, but it felt a bit inappropriate for a children’s game.

Still, even when the game goes offline in 2027, there’s definitely fun to be had with this.
