Beginning September 2nd, Sony is revealing the upcoming complimentary games set to grace PlayStation Plus Essential. The lineup includes “Psychonauts 2” and “Stardew Valley” on PS4, as well as “Viewfinder” which will be playable on both PS4 and PS5. As with previous releases, these three games will also be accessible for subscribers of Extra and Premium tiers.
In 2021, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2005 cult favorite, “Psychonauts 2”, was launched. This time around, players find themselves back in control of Raz, now a full-fledged member of the Psychonauts. However, his celebration is cut short when he’s tasked with unmasking a traitor within their ranks. The game offers new abilities and levels, along with an improved combat system, to make it a unique experience (and visually stunning). Stardew Valley, without a doubt, doesn’t require an introduction – it’s a farming/life simulation game inspired by Harvest Moon that has sold over tens of millions of copies worldwide. It has already received numerous updates, which have broadened the end-game and added several new features. On the other hand, Viewfinder is a brief puzzle game where players manipulate their camera to alter their understanding of reality. Despite its straightforward premise, it delivers an engaging adventure that’s worth experiencing.
Subscribers can continue to play the games added to their library as part of August’s PlayStation Plus Essential selection until September 1st. Don’t miss out, claim them today!
