Dragon Quest Day is coming up soon, and recent reports suggest this year’s celebration will be especially exciting.
The event is taking place this week, on May 27th. It was already set to be a significant occasion as it marks the 40th anniversary of the franchise, but excitement is really building now.
Reddit users recently found eight hidden videos on Square Enix’s official Dragon Quest YouTube channel. It looks like these videos were added quite recently.
So, it sounds like we’re going to get a bunch of new trailers soon, and honestly, I’m really hoping one of them will finally show us what’s been happening with Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate! We haven’t heard anything about that game in ages, and I’m dying to see it again.
Rumors about a remake or remaster of Dragon Quest 8 have circulated, but they haven’t come from any trustworthy sources.
Considering how well the recent remake of Dragon Quest 7 performed, it wouldn’t be surprising if Square Enix decided to remake that beloved PlayStation 2 game as well.
