A new trailer has been released for Housemarque’s upcoming game, Saros, which launches next week. The trailer gives players a look at what to expect, beginning with a peaceful scene of the planet Carcosa being painted by the character Stack (played by Keone Young). However, things quickly become much more intense.
The story follows Arjun Devraj (Rahul Kohli), a law enforcer from the planet Soltari, who travels to Echelon IV to investigate the fate of earlier missions. He quickly encounters the Eclipse, a mysterious force that begins to affect his team. Rather than waiting for answers, Arjun ventures into the dangerous world to search for someone he cares about deeply.
This game will be challenging. Players will face enemies that constantly throw things, enormous bosses with even more projectiles, and a strange, many-armed figure on a throne who seems connected to the unsettling The King in Yellow. Luckily, a variety of weapons, including powerful new ones, are available to help players overcome these obstacles.
I’m really intrigued by this new game, Saros! The developer, Arjun, said something about being as eternal as the sun, and now I need to know what that means. Luckily, it’s coming out on April 30th, and it’s a PS5 exclusive! I’ve been reading up on it, and it sounds like it’s different from Housemarque’s Returnal, so I’m checking out all the details to see what makes it special.
